As much as I support the tank, the NBA draft is so broken. Having so many teams try for losses is just giving fans another reason not to watch. I have league pass, but I have maybe only watched half the Raptor games fully this year and it’s only getting worse. Add that to the insane amount of threes being shot every game and it is very difficult to support the league atm.

Fixing the tanking problem and fixing the amount of threes being shot has to be a top priority this offseason.

On the flip side, I've never paid so much attention to bad games (ours and others) ever before.

I concur. It has become so painful when teams just rest players even in games. This is like watching G league. Just flatten the odds

Tonight's results pretty much guarantee we won't be catching BKN or Philly (it was always going to be a long shot). #7 it is I guess. Let's just hope we don't get knocked down a few spots in the lottery.

This is probably the direction we're headed towards. Secure 7th and then give the full line up a run. We beat up some bad teams, revitalize the fanbase and team going into the off season, and then sell that late season surge in training camp. :noway:

Tanking was one of the ways we could have jumped out of the 8-10th seed hell hole. Now we will have to hope the team works well together. We have a lot of above average talent like Ingram, IQ, and Poeltl. If we can be above 500 next season their values would be higher. We will need to trade for a superstar again if we ever hope to compete for a championship again.

We have won far too many games on the road and then disappoint paying home fans? The strategic vision of the team is terrible.
Last 2 days are prime examples. You could play all the starters vs Spurs try to win then rest most vs Washington and next Brooklyn.
Meanwhile both 76ers and Nets understood the mission and lost by 10.

And where has that got them? Nowhere. Just shows you there are no guarantees. Sarr has a lot of flaws and don’t see him being an all-star caliber player.

We would EASILY be above the nets and sixers had we just tanked during that stupid stretch of wins we had a few weeks ago. I’d say even if we took it more seriously this stretch. This was totally achievable and we didn’t take it seriously enough as a franchise.
