Coby White has leveled up again?

if he doesn't significantly cool off by the end of the season, i think you would have to get really really good value for coby to justify trading him this summer

i am as doubtful as anyone regarding the legitimacy of the run the bulls have been on post-lavine trade, but when a young team shows a spark like this and there aren't a lot of other obvious routes to acquiring foundational pieces for a competitive roster, you might as well go ahead and give the nucleus of this squad a chance to prove if there's something real here. treat coby/giddey/matas like they're your new core, spend an offseason focused on building a roster that's geared toward their playstyle and competitive timeline, and get a sense of what the ceiling is there

it's probably not that high, but even if things go south, you can always trade coby and whoever else at the deadline. if we can't land a legitimately good package for coby this summer, then i'd rather hold out for the (admittedly long) odds that he can sustain this recent level of play than get a few more cracks at stray young guys with even lower ceilings

The only way Coby should be traded would be in a package deal for a superstar. Which is almost certainly not going to happen.

I think what’s cool is, he had years to learn from two of the best scorers in the NBA. Now, it looks like he’s just fully able to exhibit what he’s learned.

People forgot that Coby is the most prolific scorer coming out of state of North Carolina. So getting buckets has been his MO since day 1.

Nobody is trading a top 5 pick in this draft for Coby White. I also wouldn't do it from the Bulls side unless it was top 3.

True. Giddey and Coby ascended. Pat is just not good. Still hoping he can find a way to be impactful though since he is likeky here for a while.
