Absolutely! That spin was insulting, though some of the lapdog Celtics media passed it along with a straight face.

I heard more than one legitimate, paid Celtics broadcaster (not on TV, in the YouTube space) say the Celtics "have been sold." I mean come on I'm not in the business world but JFC

Hauser now shooting 42% from 3 for the year, Pritchard 41, and White (and KP) both at 39%.
With JT in control of the ball and that spread around him, I *almost* feel bad for the opponents' defense sometimes. But I don't:)

Can't wait to get this regular season over with. That near miss with Tatum last night has me shook.
My unpopular opinion is that genocide is bad and we should speak out against it.

Better rest him for the rest of the regular season so he can be 100% for the playoffs

Total games missed by top 8 guys, last season: 87
Total games missed by top 8 guys, this season: 107 (and we have 10 games left)

SRS, last season: 10.75
SRS, this season: 8.25

Other than the 92 and 97 Bulls, none of the repeat champs from the past 50 years had a better SRS than this season's Celtics.

Current run is now 22-4, 2nd best record since January 29. 47.5/38.3/80.8 splits as a team during that span. 60.6% TS%.

3rd in 3FG% during that span. 14th prior to this run. Not much change in 3-pt volume -- 53.6% vs. 53.8%.

The Exciting Whites are killing it in this current 22-4 run from shooting perspective.

I have no way to prove it other than using my eyeballs, but a large part of it is them spending much of their court time with Tatum (except for maybe KP).

The Celtics have won 14 of 15 on the road. They haven’t done that in a season in 60 years.

Mazzulla's teams take care of the ball more than most Celtics teams in history...

Keith Smith has an article called, Late Season NBA Roster Situations To Monitor. Here's his Celtics blurb:

Analysis: Boston regularly carries an open roster deep into the season. The Celtics also always fill that spot. At this point, keep an eye on a potential two-way callup. Given that Miles Norris received a two-year two-way deal, it’s probably between J.D Davison and Drew Peterson.

Davison has been with the team longer, but Peterson is a wing. With the late-season emergence of Baylor Scheierman and the buyout addition of Torrey Craig, that should give Boston enough wing depth. We’ll give the nod to Davison, simply because the Celtics won’t want to be caught without guard depth.

Keith Smith seems like a great dude, earnest C's fan and honest, hardworking American. That said, probably no one in basketball media has a lower batting average, lol ... Sorry Keith, lol

Id be game if they sign JD. I wouldnt be holding my breath tho.

Who would be more surprised if they were offered a standard contract in April - Peterson or Davison? :D

Rest the top 8
Tatum injury should justify the above

Garbage teams coming up, play the young guys maybe somebody emerges to help in the playoffs

It’s always a tough call because you don’t want to go into a series in either a funk or just plain cold. Al and Jrue are definite rest candidates, but you want your horses to go into that first series in a good groove. Best part of the playoffs - no more back to backs :D
