I kind of like how the league is now. Luck plays a big role, which adds to the parity and gives everyone a shot at winning. You don’t need the most talented roster—just be good enough and then roll the dice.

Congrats, Floppers, on winning it twice in three years—an impressive feat that won’t be easy to match! It’s definitely something I’ll be aiming for in the future. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!

Thank you lol I will not deny I had an extremely fortunate 3 weeks against powerhouses.

Cinci lost Kyrie in his first game. Didn't have Ingram. PG was benched for the tank. You didn't have Wemby, JJ, JDub missed games (I do have to say your depth did perform extremely well for being back-ups however). Then I didn't have to face Jokic once against Motown.

My handicap, like my last title, I was without LeBron, but my trade at the deadline was to acquire guys who were hot in the defensive cats like Ausar Thompson, Kel'el Ware and some waiver wire scrappers Kyshawn George, Cason Wallace. Draymond somehow returned to prime defensive form this month. Combine that with some health luck and strategy of mapping out total games in week 20 and anything can happen.

I was ready to tear down all season constantly offering my older studs, but once I was hovering in the Top 3 in February it was worth going for.

Yeah, I was actually surprised you went in to compete. I thought you had a solid move just stashing Nikola Topic, especially with, what, five young guards on your team?

Sports—or fantasy leagues—really do mirror life. You can build the best team, make all the right moves, and still have luck decide your fate. But at the same time, you can’t just rely on luck. There’s a threshold of effort and preparation you have to meet first—after that, some things are just out of your control.

So true.

Also, the beauty of categories is that literally 5 teams could have won the title this year with the right moves. Now especially in today's NBA with players missing games due to rest, it's truly a crapshoot, as compared to NFL where carries and targets are pretty cemented to starters who don't miss games unless serious injury.

The free agent pool in the NBA is a gold mine now. For example, I picked up Malik Beasley early in the season and he leads the league in threes at the moment. Really gave a boost to my squad when my best player doesn't even take threes (Giannis).

I hope in the future we get more managers tweaking their rosters and looking to make deals to bolster their supporting cast because obviously it's hard to reach agreements when you're only trading top 40 guys.
