not with that beard and haircut, looks like he's trying to be one of the 3 Musketeers

I would take anyone semi-capable of playing basketball. Salaun has yet to have a game like Bronny had this week against Milwaukee let alone THAT stat line from Buzelis

It sucks for Salaun that he hasn't played these last couple weeks, they are prime worthless games where we could've fed him some shots and see what happens. (We know what happens... but still)

Bulls fan posting about Matas on a Salaun thread after he has a good game. Weird flex. lol.

Buzelis was one of those very intriguing G-League guys who teased, had obvious talent, but question marks like all the others. I certainly would have taken him ahead of Salaun, but then I would have picked Clingan given how the draft played out. Matas could be one of the best from that draft class.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Bronny has shown more than Salaun has not even lying

i dont mind the balance, if he's having a bad day and its ruining the offense and pissing off the other guys, thats not going to help anyone and could hurt his confidence.

i trust coach, i genuinely believe he has improved through the year.

I just don't ever again want to add a player you can't trust when he puts the ball on the floor.

I don't understand how you can rely on a guy like that let alone draft one in a building block slot.

the one exception i can make to that is if it's a big man. unfortunately there were no 7'3 or 7'5 centers available at #6 last year :(

I don’t see a single building block in this entire draft to be honest.

If there was one he’s terrible.

i was trying to just ignore the pointless negative posts but you sucked me in.

Edey has been very solid, even hitting the occasional 3 point shot. Not a superstar but I can definitely see staying as a starter for many years.

But you should know up front you can't build on a player you can't rely on whenever he puts the ball on the floor.

I guess JP doesn't value dribbling as a skill? If it weren't important, there would never be such a thing called a traveling violation.

Fundamental to the basic rules of basketball as a sport, you have to put the ball on the floor.

Quite often.

I think Jeff thought we should feed Miller/Melo 25 shots each and wanted to get “low usage” guys around them. That’s the general thinking I came to.

Obviously this was terrible in practice for multiple reasons. You need basketball players in today’s NBA.

this was definitely the thought process, and it's one of the several reasons I'm fully skeptical he'll be a competent GM ever. He and Lee both feel like they're trying to play 2k in real life

They want long, strong players who can shoot 3's and move their feet well on D. Maybe Saluan can be that when he is not a teenager.

If the vision for this franchise’s future is a team of Salauns, all I can say is: may the Lord help us.
