It sucks so much that we never got a healthy playoff run after our title. But I'm also so thankful for our title
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

2022 - Khris
2023 - Giannis
2024 - Giannis
2025 - Dame

I'm still going to irrationally blame Jimmy Haslam and his bad juju.

This. It's really hard to win a title. Everything has to go right. And as much as we bitch about not winning another one (I bitch too) we did have a magical season.

Terrible news for him. Unfortunate news for us. But they caught it.

We got our one magical season. Basketball gods back to hating us again.

Jokes aside, glad they caught it and can nip it in the bud before anything long-term happened. Get better, Dame.

Terrible news, hope he's okay. Absolutely needs to just rest up and not worry about basketball for a while.

Have to start KPJ and see what he can do. Rollins is barely a rotation guy let alone a starter. If KPJ does well you find (hopefully) a way to keep him.

I truly believe they started punishing us for canning Bud right after the death of his brother and have continued ever since.

Like you said. Glad they caught it.

KPJ, Ryan Rollins and ShootingTheJ. Those are the three people with the most pressure on them right now.

It started when Bud was still here. Middleton slips on wet spot and is knocked out of the playoffs and then Giannis the next year. Then Bud was fired and we have another Giannis injury and now Dame.

It's just ridiculous how the prime of Giannis's career has been wasted by season ending injuries. Thank god for that one title, but this sucks so hard.

The decision to move Rollins into the starting lineup, instead of KPJ, made no sense, like most moves Doc makes. The whole point of Rollins as a starter, but not KPJ, was fit next to Dame. KPJ & Trent starting, Kuz 6th man, makes all sense in the world now (so Doc won't do it).

Can't wait for the NBA media to use this news as a way to amplify Giannis trades and speculation all spring long.

Hope he gets better soon. As a team we may probably play better overall a lot more ball movement I would think.

Sad and horrifying. Always a reminder how fragile our human bodies are, even for superhumans who play in the NBA who take care of themselves greatly. This team was incredibly unlikely to win anything significant this year anyways, so this does buy a round of excuses for the decisionmakers of this franchise, but hopefully we can see some real changes this offseason regardless.

I fear this may be just enough of an excuse to buy Doc another year. F*ck.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
