Damn. I've been super paranoid about my own health lately and was researching DVT when I had a pain in my leg this past weekend.

It's no joke. The clot can end up in your lungs or brain and kill you.

Correct. We won a title after the Nets had two major injuries and Giannis had a miraculous recovery. Ever since then we have had the worst luck.

Just thankful we had 2021 because I don't think we will win another for a while now.

Obviously, we all hope Dame is OK. His last 2 years of life have been crazy. It must be exhausting.

I mean, he was part of the reason we can't win as well being hurt. Can't just lump it all on the org.

Team is absolutely cooked so seeding doesn’t really matter anymore. Doc can’t be allowed to run Giannis into the ground just to scrap together a few extra wins. Load manage/rest him the rest of the way. If not then ownership needs to step in.

1. Agree, absolute nightmarish timeline.
2. DVT is really **** scary. I feel like NBA fans don't need to be told it, but this is what shutdown Wemby for the season last month, and is also what led to the ending of Bosh's career (I think you need...three?).
3. Why the hell do peak NBA athletes have DVT?

I love the bread crumbing about Dame coming back. Bogut’s elbow all over again.

There’s no chance he’s coming back. This is one of those injuries you don’t muck around with.

I hope Dame gets well soon and takes the time he needs to get right. It’s just basketball at the end of the day.

And whether Dame was here or not, this team was still cooked. Now we just have another “if only” excuse to kick this sorry can down the road another year.

C’mon man, we weren’t going anywhere this year anyway. Imagine thinking a team starting TP at shooting guard is going to compete in the playoffs. It just sucks that Doc has an excuse and now we might keep him around another year.

Teams have won titles with players way worse than Prince starting for them in the finals.

I had a DVT, 3 months is the minimum treatment. Hopefully he’s clear after that and can be back next year. Main thing is that they caught it. Next place the clots go is your lungs and it gets much worse from there.

It’s not just Prince, it’s the lineup- it’s way too slow to compete in the playoffs. Teams have zero fear of this big, slow, old lineup.

I still wonder why you giannis only fans even post here. This is the bucks forum not the Giannis one. Dudes got a freak medical condition and you post some clown stuff like this. MD should put you in timeout for this one.

Yeah if he wasn’t playing with no legs that’d be great but it’s not 5 years ago.

You guys can crow about how “it didn’t matter if Dame was healthy” and I’m not even gonna disagree that a 2nd round exit was the most likely outcome of this season.

That we still haven’t and might never see a healthy Dame/Giannis play a single second of postseason basketball together is the biggest tragedy of this era of Bucks basketball. And it’s 100% fair to wonder if it left one more potential championship on the table.
