He needs to get that confidence and killing instinct so let’s hope Thibs gets him some 10-12 minutes off the bench.
Kolek is a killer. He'll be clutch for us.
He won one of our SL games with a buzzer beater. He's not shy.
Traid value
This off-season is going to be interesting.
Mitch - expiring contract, often injured, but can make us better when healthy.
Cam Payne . . . I don't hate him, but I wonder if it makes sense to bring him back with Kolek here too.
Deuce - very tradable contract, but he's solid depth for us.
Precious . . . (see Cam Payne . . . only he's being paid twice as much).'
Rookies: Huk, Kolek, McCullar - I'm leaning towards these 3 being keepers. We need depth and they're all cheap.
Other Rookie: Dadiet. I think Daddy's the one they'll offer in trade talks, try to get something back for the 19 year old.
Scrubs: Beauchamp, Watson, Delon Wright . . . Trade fodder.
Miscelaneous: I think Shamat will be back next year. I don't know why, but Thibs seems to like him.
. . . Knicks have a few future 2nds they can offer in trade and they have a late 2nd this year (not theirs, I think it OKCs).
I don't know what they're going to do, but I think we'll see some attempts at creative team building by Leon. I'd love to see Huk, Kolek, McCullar get rotation minutes next year, and I'm not sure who they'll bring in via free agency and maybe trade, but I think they'll add someone.
sorry - I'm just rambling. Back to the game thread.

I would do the same but literally every time I buy a jersey the player gets traded the next year.
can you buy a precious jersey?
for science.
Maybe they sell a Thibs jersey! I'll do the fanbase a solid. LOL

Cool to see Towns and Hart with the trip dubs. 5-4 without Brunson now but the schedule gets tougher. Payne 3-0 as starting PG now
OG killed it. Guy was wiping blood off his face and hitting 3s

FTR. Kolek has been active and vocal on defense these two games so far as well. Much better than I expected honestly. Steals/blocks/deflections/fighting over screens/making the right rotations. Hasn't really been challenged yet.

Gotta love OG man. The guy got the bag, and he goes out there night after night fighting like a warrior and expanding his offensive game. Literally bleeding for us! So many other players would just put themselves on cruise control after they get that contract, but you can see that OG appreciates it.

Kid should have been getting consistent minutes all season.

He's been cool as ice out there with those slick passes and just finding the right guy. Thibs really screwed up not playing him all season. Even 10 minutes a night to give Brunson a breather to close out games with more energy.

I hate that it takes injuries to play our youngins. Thibs can never see raw talent when it's there. No other coach in the league does this. I'm glad to see Kolek getting minutes finally in the last few weeks of the season. We all know he won't get any burn in the playoffs.

Thibs benching starters with 5 mins left? Might we actually win the second half of a back to back?

It reeks of deuce averaging 4 mpg and having 20 DNP prior to IQ getting traded. Then he becomes a key rotation player overnight. Hmm maybe they could’ve been rotation players all along
We've been watching cam payne chuck deep 3s all season when we could have been playing mark price 2.0. Add another reason to the fire thibs.

I bet Hul, Dadiet (or McCullar), and Kolek could give us more now and in the future than the other guys playing in front of them. Thibs can’t see past today.
