Heck POR traded a 2nd round pick for glorious cash...

Are there any examples of a guy that has missed this much time returning anything of value in trade? Its hard to find a comparison off the top of my head because there are not many guys who have been this injury prone since I started following the league in the late 90's.

He's going to be an expiring contract, much like Ayton, Simons and Thybulle (assuming he does not opt out this
off season).

Williams might be of some use as a mentor for Clingan, much like Brogdon served as a mentor for Scoot.

The goal should be to supplement the apparent core of Deni, Camara, Clingan and apparently Scoot. That core
needs a consistent scorer (s) if Ayton, Simons and Grant are phased out of the picture

Not a perfect match, but Anthony Davis has a very long injury history, and missed a lot of games. And was traded for value, twice.

Numbers might be a bit off due to COVID season - but I see

Anthony Davis - 780 games played over 13 seasons = 73.8% of available games played
Robert Williams III - 235 games played over 7 seasons = 41.5% of available games played

AD is a generational talent but is widely consitered brittle and frail - and even HE has played 32.3% more available games than RWIII.
