problem is there's the built in brunson injury excuse now. even when he comes back if the team loses it will be because he was rusty etc

really have to hope he gets pushed into retirement after this season.

Yes I am. I hope he gets fired after we get swept in the first round. We will never win anything in the playoffs with him. Time is up.

Did Kolek get hurt? Or just Thibs going into his panic mode and playing Wright for no reason??

Kolek deserves no flak. For playing his first big mintes? Kolek had what 1 turnover in 2 games? Playing HUGE minutes in a pinch.
And well on defense, I might add. Wait till he gets his legs under his shot, huh, lights out.

These people here are bugging.

Overreacting much I believe. He needs consistent minutes to develop and get into game mode. Imagine being coached by Thibs as a rookie, that’s a nightmare for a rookie’s development. Name one player not name Derek Rose he develop into a star and we all know Rose was a special athlete and ran him into the ground in Chicago.

I honestly had enough of Thibs as a Knicks head coach. Just a matter of time before Leon Rose pulls that plug.

If the Knicks had to go an entire season 0-82 in order for Thibs to be gone I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

They'll beat the Pistons, but the Celtics are going to get real war crime-ish against us.

Wildcat wrote:Hart very ineffective. 3 PT shooting once again an issue. That run in the 3rd had a couple of blown coverages from Hart.

Hart was famously supposed to work on shooting last summer with his buddy JJ Redick. Obviously didn't happen after JJ got the Lakers job. But how did he not get with a shooting specialist to work on it? If he came back from the summer as an average shooter even, it would've made a huge difference. Teams sagging off him kills the offense

Agreed. But that’s RealGM, man, lol.

Kolek finally got time and looked good. The coaching was weird and so were a few of the performances, but I’m happy to see a guy like Kolek get time to TRY against proper opponents.

It’s OK for folks to enjoy being a fan, to enjoy watching basketball, to enjoy rooting for your team. Don’t let the schtick of RealGM toxicity ruin it. We’ve still got a lot of fun games to watch this season, no doubt.

We didn't necessarily shoot the ball poorly

Clippers shooting 53.3% from three is really high though

Powell and Harden did most of the damage, combining for 10/14 from three

The whole point of having guys like OG, Mikal, and Hart is so opposing wings can't go off on us

Knicks were just "good"

To win against the Clippers, they needed to be great

At the same time, if Harden doesn't play the Clippers don't win.
We're missing our Capt. Clutch.

I don't even think Capt. and Mitch have been on the court together yet

as do I but i'm skeptical they will "fire" him unless the team gets dog walked in the 1st round while healthy. one built in excuse of an OG or bridges let alone bruson injury and i'm unsure the front office will pull the plug.

hope i'm wrong but my point was more even if they want to move on from him, out of respect etc they might just ask him to retire/resign. not sure if he would do it though, he's old as **** he should just move on.

i do think the media and fan voice matters though and the theme of being done with thibs is getting loud.

Mitch will prolly play well in that series against their froncourt and then be unplayable against the Cs but dont worry mikal will put up dog sht stats in that series so we can just focus on those 5 picks.
