Re: Miami vs Warriors 3/25 @ 7:30 PM
This was our Super Bowl and we won. It's funny how when we want to win certain players dont get a minute of playing time (Terry). Bam was amazing, loved that basically trick shot from Ware that he just flipped up in the air and somehow went in. Ware and Herro with like what 70% shooting was not something I expected, nor Burk having a career night 5/7 3 pointers lol.
The only strange thing is how JJJ is basically now reduced to scrub minutes lately. I think the allegation is BS but also Spo has put him in the dog house so who knows.

You saw who the ball went through too, he’ll be standing in the corner all game Thursday I’m sure.

Its complete bs.. JJJ is having a bad sophmore slump this year.. i dont think summer league is above him. He could use the work from it
And im fine with trading him away…

I dont know who he hangs out with on the team but we need to keep Ware far away from him this summer. Make sure the rook stays tied to the hip of all the workers.

You and everyone else knows when Bam isn't aggressive enough its almost always on him. He gets to direct the offense and handle the ball more than most bigs in the NBA, the reason he sometimes goes invisible is because he doesn't go out of the way to "get his".
I don't necessarily have a huge problem with it either, I don't think he has quite the polish to be a #1 option on a contender. But its got nothing to do with standing in the corner. Even last night he had a couple possessions where he had the ball in an iso situation, took a dribble without the double coming and still ended up swinging it back out or doing nothing (one of them was a shot clock violation).
If there's one thing that could really take Bam's game to the next level, its his decisiveness speeding up by a couple seconds, whether its passing, attacking, whatever. His skill level is huge for a guy his size, but he just takes too long sometimes processing what to do, and it lets defenses get set and attack him.

He’s our 3rd option at best, by design. Unfortunate.

Again if he is a 3rd option (it obviously varies by game), its partly his fault because he simply doesn't have the tools to warrant being a consistent first option. I love his game when its on, but his decision making, while generally very good, is too slow a lot of the time. Bam possessions almost always end up going to the shot clock.
Comparison, you said you're a big Wade guy. I don't know how old of a Heat fan you are, but one of the things I loved about Wade that was evident from even his rookie season, was how quick he would make decisions. It was a big factor in his efficiency. Sometimes it would look like he was being passive in games, but that wasn't it, it was that he would quickly read a defense and either move the ball or attack.
Bam, although I love his versatility, has a habit of slowing the game down and taking up too much time staring at his defender. Its funny but him and Tyler have the opposite problem, Tyler makes quick reads (this season at least) but lacks the physicality to impose his will on great defenders, and can be shut down or erased from games at times. Bam can dominate even the best defenders, but his reads while usually good, are so slow they can bog down possessions.

I do agree he needs to get quicker with his decision making. When in doubt, just put your head down and get to the rim like last night and draw some contact

Bam has the athleticism and the skillset to be better than a prime Amare if he sped up his game a bit. I also think part of the issue is he knows he's a good passer, but then he gets too caught up in trying to utilize that skillset and make the perfect play instead of just dominating his matchup. Which again, is not a "we don't give him the ball or prioritize him enough" issue, its a mentality/decision making issue.

Trae will be there for the taking, just have to want him if you’re Miami and be willing to pay the price (which was very low last summer) but he would do wonders for Bam Ware and Tyler

I don’t understand why Heat just decided to play with great urgency against the Warriors compared to the previous games? I feel like that’s something Heat should be doing the last couple of games and with that in mind, I don’t even know how Heat will perform in the next several games. So inconsistent!
I think there need to be some type of incentive for the players to show up like they means business or else their pay will be cut.

i noticed in the video of jimmy leaving at the end of the game his 2 groupies had on Big face coffee sweatshirts with the word "Joy" across it. i guess if he won the game that would've been perfect ad placement

Lineup changes is why. Wiggs was out, Burks was out and a few others. Pair that with Jaime and Rozier getting playing time and there you have it.
