Teams sagging off him kills the offense

Hart doesn't load his wrist.

Loaded wrist = palm facing the ceiling, Hart's palm faces the rim.

It's easy to spot, but probably not easy to fix considering how old he is now.

First and foremost, I love KAT's offensive game. I've always thought if you put effort on defense, it can mask a lot of your weaknesses. I guess that mindset is pre-spacing because if you're bad as a defender and everyone is spaced out.. you're gonna get fcked. Mannn, KAT is just not a good defender no matter how much effort he puts into it.

Would y'all do a KAT for Giannis trade?

well, of course

I don't see why people think we'll lose to the Pistons, young teams generally don't do well against teams that have playoff experience.

OG has been killing it. Thibs has really unlocked his game. At least we have that. Don’t care much about the end of the bench guys, they all kind of suck and hopefully Leon does his job and adds better depth. Not sure what he will do with the starting lineup but it needs to be shaken up as well.

But yeah OG is awesome

I have a lot of patience for rookies. When Harden sees Kolek, he sees him like fresh meat where he can use his foul baiting tricks on him.

Knicks will likely remain the 3rd seed in the East even if we lose more games than we win for the rest of the season

We're playing .500 ball without Brunson. Honestly that's not bad.

Also, I think Brunson makes it back the last 4 games of the regular season so he qualifies for regular season awards

It's probably hard for this team to play with more desperation when they expect to be a 3rd seed. They are unlikely to have a real meltdown the last 10 games of the season.

Other than being a 3rd seed, they are still in reach of having the 4th best record in the entire NBA. If they have aspirations to make the NBA Finals and any team other than the Thunder makes it out of the West, then that's something they should be playing for.

I'm trying to look at things from the mental/psychological level with this team

When I see KAT at the FT line, I like that literally every teammate on the floor with him gives him a high five. I am not totally down on this team. They can still play with each other.

OG is looking really great. KAT still looks great. Mikal has been alright. This time without Brunson is at least showing us that our 3 other top scorers can get buckets without him. So in the playoffs, we should be able to score with our without Brunson on the court.

At this point I’m rooting for 1st round sweep to do this roster and franchise a favor moving forward.

The two key questions are…..will Leon Rose do it? and does James Dolan let him do it?

Our fans are stuck with complacency since we always compare the nightmare days before Leon Rose took over.

We have been in this position before with Thibs and I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. All I see is disappointment when it comes down to having a higher possibility of the Knicks winning a championship under Thibs.

We need accountability from the Head Coach.

probably the best first round matchup for us because they don't have a lot of shooters. And OG actually does a solid job on Giannis.

Also Doc is a less creative coach than Thibs and still puts Lopez on KAT.

But its the right to get hammered by the celtics in the next round

they have 7 3's in like 4 minutes to start the game vs suns right now.

Thibs makes it very possible. They aren't beating any playoff team.

Cool thing about climate change is it was almost 70 here today so I can get out and forget about this team real soon.

He tricked everyone. If he's not hitting the three he's a negative asset, especially as you advance in the playoffs. When he's not hitting the three, or shooting it, it's like having a really small center on the floor that is standing 23 feet from the rim.

Hart, interestingly, lead the Knicks in plus/minus tonight.

Which suggests +/- isn't completely reliable.

I’d do it straight up, one for one
But I don’t think its ever going to happen unless he specifically requests a trade to NY, because other teams can offer more

Yeah, the JJ thing got cut short. I feel like I remember someone else getting involved, but I could be making it up, too.

Kolek deserves no flak. For playing his first big mintes? Kolek had what 1 turnover in 2 games? Playing HUGE minutes in a pinch.
And well on defense, I might add. Wait till he gets his legs under his shot, huh, lights out.

These people here are bugging.

Agreed. But that’s RealGM, man, lol.

Kolek finally got time and looked good. The coaching was weird and so were a few of the performances, but I’m happy to see a guy like Kolek get time to TRY against proper opponents.

It’s OK for folks to enjoy being a fan, to enjoy watching basketball, to enjoy rooting for your team. Don’t let the schtick of RealGM toxicity ruin it. We’ve still got a lot of fun games to watch this season, no doubt.

What impressed me the most was how poise Kolek is under pressure of running his first starting 4.

He's a little gun shy right now because he wants everyone to keep sharing the ball. The Team has been excellent in these last 2 games and Kolek wanted to keep that going. Very unselfish, his handle is crazy steady and IQ off the charts.

Certainly worthy of moving up to Capts' backup, with Duece to the 2.
