They’re wrong every time  this isn’t a serious place to talk hoops anymore.

They cant admit they've been wrong about all their favorite bum kids and players they hated over the last 5 years so they automatically blame Thibs for everything to make themselves feel they were correct.

In their imagination, "Play the bench" or "Kolek needs minutes to develop" means "the bench is the Dream Team" and Kolek is "prime Jordan".

Wherever you find low IQ posts, a Thibs slobber is sure to be close by.

Bench sucks. Thibs great. *pig snort*

And be the 3rd seed.. so what exactly is the difference if they win 49 or 50?

True. Pistons gonna bounce em in the first round regardless.

He's shown that he can produce, he just needs to be playing 20 MPG+ and more minutes with KAT.

Yep. I do find it hilarious they talk with their chests out like they don’t have the worst track records on here  I respect their consistency on being wrong on everything though.

It does suck you can’t talk hoops anymore. It’s just trolls spamming “ fire Thibs” in every thread on every page. Annoying af to read that all the time.

I still think, if healthy, this team kicks it into another gear in the playoffs. They're as over the regular season as we are.

Thibs needs to go 3-4 deep though so they don't get burnt out (Deuce 25 MPG, Mitch 20 MPG, Shamet 15 MPG, Payne or Precious being situational).

I do not blame Thibs for every problem, but I do not believe that no person can do a better job than him.

When healthy this is the 4th best team in the NBA, that's as good as you can do with this roster. Thinking Shamet, Precious and kolek are championship players, KAT has solid defense, Hart is a good shooter etc is delusional

Being the 4th best team in the league in a very weak conference doesn't mean a thing when there is a large gap between you and the teams ahead of you. No one is stating that Shamet, Precious and Kolek are championship caliber players, that is an absolute strawman argument. But getting completely annihilated every time we play the Celtics, Cavs and Thunder while having two all-star starters, one of the best defensive players in the league and a roster of young potential talent is unacceptable. The same way that you accuse fans of blaming all of the team's problems on Thibs I could say that you do the same with certain players on the roster that you have an issue with. We shouldn't deflect from the flaws of one side in favor of another in order to win a debate.

Last I checked, you literally "ignored" me because I all said was "I was wrong about RJ Barrett. Can you admit you were wrong about Julius Randle?" That's literally when you "ignored" me. Nothing about anyone being mad other than you, who is always saying people are wrong, can't admit to one thing.

yeah. look, thibs is not a perfect coach. there's some legit complaints about minutes. but nobody in the national media who covers the nba really thinks this team's talent is as great as okc/boston/cleveland and is being held back by coaching. that's not a thing. yet somehow that's not an acceptable opinion here.

Except for a few posters, no one is saying Thibs is the only reason this team isn't as good as it should be. On both sides of the Thibs discussion, people are creating strawman arguments. Is Thibs a great coach? Yes. Can he win with this roster. Maybe? Maybe not? Can someone else do better with this roster? Maybe? Maybe not? Is that no reasonable? Does it have to be either Thibs needs to go or that this roster has no chance at improvement with a differnet coach? It's always something extreme.

Bruh they act like we some Thibs apologists. I said last year I would fire Thibs for Nick nurse/bud (which actually would’ve been bad in hindsight). They don’t make sense. Anyone who really knows ball knows that no coach is fixing this poorly constructed roster. Imagine thinking firing Thibs would put us on the same tier as Boston, Cleveland and OKC

One defensive player aint covering for the two all-star starters, who are among the worst defensive players at their positions. the Celtics, Cavs and Thunder dont have that issue or have the personnel to minimize their weaknesses.

The young potential talent are 2nd rounders from a weak draft that should be in the g-league or China right now. Blaming Thibs for not making this a championship roster is absurd

Not worried about Mitch's minutes cuz we all know Thibs will start playing him 30+ as soon as the restrictions are lifted. What I am worried about is if there is enough season left for him to recover from being out 9 months.
