Time will tell. It's just interesting that he would only flirt with the team that had the #1 pick in the past and now SS is fine with the entire top 10.

The process could have given him a reality check but there is still so much more to go through before the draft.

Shedeur still has to have his pro day so I don't think he might drop.

If he's there at 3 I think he's a Giant and DeVito gets cut but I don't expect the Browns to pass on Sanders with Kenny Pickett being their only active QB.

But, with a full QB room now I take Hunter or Carter.

With the QB signings, I don't think a rookie is even going to make it on the field this season. I don't know if you invest the #3 pick for that when you can get a blue chip prospect at 3 and also have a developmental QB with potentially higher ceilings in the later rounds.

But Shedur could blow the doors off on his pro day and change the math. We'll see.

Exactly. A lot can happen between now and draft day.

It should be an open competition. It ain't like Russ is that much better. If at all at this point.

Russ said he's the starter at his presser. I don't know if that is the team's official position on that or just his though

His salary says he's the starter

Yeah it does.

However with Daboll coaching for his job, I don't think he should be married to any of these guys and just go with who is going to help us score points. If that means Jameis throwing for 400 yards, 4TDs/3INTs, so be it

Having Nabers and Hunter on the field at the same time.

Two elite talents on rookie deals.

Draft a QB next offseason and I think we're headed in the right direction.

So, what round will the 464 lb defensive lineman go? I'm thinking 7th, maybe not at all. But someone will sign him as a walk-on and see if they can work with him.

Earlier than 7th? Anyone? I think 7th round is a stretch.

That weight seems like a serious health concern.

yeah there's no reason to be 464 lbs and the fact that he is shows there's probably some underlying work ethic/commitment issue.

sure give him a chance to get down to a better nfl playing weight if he goes undrafted but i'd guess he doesn't make it unless he drops at least 100lbs

I am seeing mocks of Sanders falling into the 2nd round now. It would be ridiculous if the Giants get Hunter and Sanders somehow

If a team sees potential and drafts him, I'd imagine he would need to meet several conditions before he'd even sniff the field. 464 pounds is just way too much weight even for a young man his age. That's so dangerous I dunno where to begin.

He needs to drop 100lbs at least.

There's no way he gets past all 3 of Saints, DAL or PIT.

Here are the full details of Russ' contract:

Wilson gets $10.5 million fully guaranted in 2025. That breaks down as follows:

An $8 million signing bonus
A $2 million base salary
A $500,000 workout bonus
All of that equals a cap hit of $10.5 million.

The incentives break down as shown below, per Spotrac, with them being considered ‘Not Likely To Be Earned’ or NLTBE, so they do not count against the 2025 salary cap. The performance incentives are all slightly above what Wilson accomplished in 2024, making them NLTBE

Regular Season Win Incentive

Team Win with 50% Snaps: $176,471
Playing Time Incentives

65%: $500,000
75%: $1M
85%: $1.5M
Performance Incentives

96+ Passer Rating: $500,000
64%+ Completion Rate: $500,000
20 TD Passes + 88 Passer Rating: $500,000
30 TD Passes + 88 Passer Rating: $250,000
2,500 Pass Yards + 88 Passer Rating: $500,000
3,500 Pass Yards + 88 Passer Rating: $250,000
Playoff Incentives

55% Snaps + Playoff Berth: $750,000
75% Snaps + Playoff Berth: $1.5M
55% Snaps + Playoff Win: $500,000 (max 2 wins)

If Shedeur drops deep into the first, which i highly doubt, Schoen absolutely should trade back into the first to get him if it doesn't cost next years first (which will be top 10)

I can see Jerry absolutely jumping at the chance to draft Shedeur so he can finally get rid of Dak.

Does anyone know if you can find parlay betting sites before the season on how many games (over/under) a string of teams will win in the 2025 season? I know there are single team bets; I'm looking for Parlays (like on hopeuflly on Bovada or the like).

I don't know if Fanduel allows you to combine team over unders into a parlay

Thanks, but I'm in CA so can't use them.
