I don't think Miller is 6'10". Lee is supposed to be 6'3" and he looks to be the same height or slightly taller than LaMelo in that picture.

Miller certainly doesn't look 5" taller than LaMelo in this picture where they are both closer together, closer to the camera, and wearing similar basketball shoes.

Image

Single pictures can be deceiving either way and I don't think Miller looks 6'10" on the court, or barely shorter than Mark. It would also be pretty unusual for a team to list a player as 3" shorter than their actual height. He looks 6'7"/6'8" barefoot or 6'8"/6'9" in shoes to me.

They really need to just go back to standardized measurements so there is no need for anyone to try to be analyzing pictures to try to figure out players heights.

Looks like Miles has crocs. Miller with slide on sandals. Not sure how much, but those will all add different numbers to their heights.

Miller needs to get in the weight room. With some man strength he’s going to be unguardable. He gets pushed off his spots way too easily right now - but he has the frame to be incredibly tough to stop.

Millers soles look thick. Saw someone say in the comments they are yeezys, which apparently have thick soles (I'm not a shoe guy so I could be wrong). LaMelo is also standing with his feet farther apart. Lots of things can distort height in a single picture. Miller looks taller to me in that pic than he usually does.

I do think his listed height seems a bit shorter than what he looks to me though and I'm pretty positive Miles and LaMelo's are exaggerated because they were both listed at 6'6" the year they had standard measurements. They year they did standard measurements I also believe they rounded to the nearest inch, so LaMelo could have really been more like 6'5.5" barefoot.

edit: I looked up Miles combined measurement and he was 6'5.25" barefoot and 6'6.75" in shoes.

This picture that is clearly edited without a floor or background taken from an upward angle is what you think is better to use than the original that was sent?

I also think trying to base heights on guys using Charles Lee as the main factor is probably not the best move. His internet height is probably from his freshman season at Bucknell in 2006 when he was 18 yrs old lol

Brandon Miller was also listed at Alabama at 6-9, was never measured at the combine. I think him being listed at 6-7 by Hornets is just an error.

I would believe he is 6-10 over 6-7 any day.

Lee was a SR in 2006. That height is likely the same.

Yeah, this kind of missed the point. He was probably measured at 6-3 as a freshman in 2001 and it never was updated online. He very easily could have been taller after that point which is why basing current players height on a measurement nearly 25 years old is silly, when we have much more recent measurements for these players that I would trust a lot more like Miles combine measurement, Miller Alabama height etc...

Trying to build a height theory off a guy that played in the patriot league 20+ years ago is really flawed.

Scoot Henderson
12.7 ppg, 3 rpg, 5.1 apg on 49.7% efg%
53% Off EPM
11% Def EPM
35% Overall EPM

Brandon Miller
21 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 3.6 apg on 50.9% efg%
83% Off EPM
64% Def EPM
83% Overall EPM

Amen Thompson
14.ppg, 8.2rpg, 4.2 apg on 57.5% efg%
74% Off EPM
99% Def EPM
94% Overall EPM

Ausar Thompson
10.1 ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.3 apg on 54.5% EF
52% Off EPM
99% Def EPM
91% Overall EPM

Will see how Miller vs Thompson twins shakes out, but for as bad as this franchise is drafting Scoot over these 3 guys would have been worse than taking Tidjane over Clingan, Matas, Edey etc....

I'm a big Brandon fan but I would like to see him play a bigger role in the offense; Lamelo is terrific but allowing him 36% usage is one of my least favorite things about the current makeup of the team

I'd like to see him come back from his unprecedented 6 month recovery torn shooting wrist ligament and not be ruined

Brandon may get off to a slow start but he works hard and is young so should recover.

Former Alabama men's basketball player Brandon Miller testified Thursday that he was almost struck by bullets fired into his car during a January 2023 shooting that killed Jamea Harris near The Strip in Tuscaloosa.

Miller, now a player for the NBA's Charlotte Hornets, appeared as a prosecution witness in the capital murder trial of Michael Lynn Davis, who is accused of fatally shooting Harris, a 23-year-old Birmingham woman, early the morning of Jan. 15, 2023.

Wearing a black suit with a white button-down shirt, Miller, 22, testified for almost 90 minutes in front of a crowded courtroom about his involvement and recollections. It's the first time Miller has spoken publicly at length about the night of the shooting.

1) Jesus Christ Wemby

2) BMill being 96th percentile in the league despite HORRIBLE shot selection (I blame Lee's system more than Miller for this) is extremely damn impressive. We need to get him off the ball more. His difference in FG% between C&S and self-created shots has to be enormous.

Not sure if that's good or bad. Being ambidextrous is great, being unable to shoot right handed , not so much. Hopefully he can do both now.
