Starting backcourt had 6 pts and one assist. Davis was 5-19 yet they still are able to win. Mosely deserves alot of blame tonight and I’m not a Mosely hater.

Yes Paolo needs more help! Franz is tired too but where are his teammates? Why is KCP still starting?

just wow...

We shot 16.7% from 3 on 30 attempts. That's where the loss came from. Hit 5 more (of those WIDE open 3's) and we score 15 more points and win... while still shooting poorly (33.3%) compared to league average.

Paolo can be so much better and he is the team's most talented OFFENSIVE player but defensively, he tries at times but for this team to take the next step and him being a MVP candidate... he's gotta be more defensive minded!

Paolo needs to improve his defensive, I agree. But there are 14 other players on this team that can help contribute to the game. It should not all fall on him. And Franz for that matter.

If you think of the 08-09 and 09-10 team, Dwight was amazing, but what helped him out a lot was that all the other players did their job. Paolo and Franz won't go anywhere until they are surrounded by players that will step up and play their role. At no point should we have someone playing 33 minute and scoring nothing. At no point should we have our best defender (normally) play only 7 minutes. No reason why we should shoot 5/30 from 3. And honestly, the defense was not truly the problem, it was our offense. From the middle of the 3rd quarter and onward, we could not shoot.

Paolo's hot streak and Franz' slump now has Paolo ahead of Franz in TS% for the season (55.6 to 55.5 as of tonight)... I did not have that on my bingo card for the season.

This would have been a good night to play Queen, Isaac, and Jett extended minutes. I realize Mosely is trying to play a playoff rotation, but you don't play 3 in 4 nights in the playoffs.

they're not happy if he can't do everything, it's known coming into the league he's not a defensive player but here we are....since they can't complain about his offense anymore they're moving the goalpost.....i mean last season he led the team in points rebounds and assists but hey we want him to be defensive player of the year also...weird as hell bringing up defense on a night where he wasn't that bad, his matchup AD killed us with a blistering.....15 points......the reason we lost this game is shooting....they hit 6 more 3's than we did....ballgame

0 points from KCP
0 points from Caleb
0 points from Gary
0 points from Jonathan
2 points from Tristan
3 points from Goga

I mean......to say the least, this isn't enough production especially considering most if not all of these guys are in the rotation....

Mainly was pointing out he’s gassed defensively because he’s gotta carry the scrubs. He had same rebounds as Goga & WCJ combined.

If next year it’s Paolo/Franz shooting 42 shots a night we’ll continue to be play in

Franz outside of 10 feet hasn't been so good since he's been back. I really believe that oblique tear screwed up his shooting motion from deep.

You can see how reluctant he was taking jumpshots and that hitch looking more pronounced. He needs to fix that during the offseason.

Dallas' bench obliterated us.

Dallas starters: -7.4
Dallas bench : +16.4

James Hardy with an out of body experience.

Franz with a rare dunce cap.

KCP right there with him. Houstan came in third for whatever reason.

Houstan is catch and shoot player and there was nothing to catch today, for some reason the offfense fell apart in the 3rd quarter and nothing was done to fix it, Mosley like all of us just sit and watch...

Chicago has 9 games left, and 4 are against tanking teams. 5 if you count Portland. They could go 6-3 or 7-2. I think they hold the tiebreaker against us.

My biggest gripe with Mosley is how much of a pussy he is with challenges. Like what are you saving it for?

Franz got to figure out that jumpshot man.....looking at old highlights he had more of a one motion shot.....now he has so much load up to his jumper it doesn't flow quite the same as it used to....wish i had time to chop up some clips to show the difference

As long as our offense will be two players shoot 50% of team shots, best we can look is looking like some variation of Suns with KD & Booker.

That simply isn't how basketball should be played. In every game where both of them are not hot, you are in great danger of losing.

Supporting cast should be better but they hardly shoot 4 shots a game, they are simply out of rhythtm.
Worst example of it was Houstan game where he made 6 threes and was only set for 9 shots total

I agree about losing on offensive end, but offensive problem is structural and multi layered

I think AB was good today, Mosley should of played him more in the 3rd. Dallas was on the ropes down 11, our defense was working, if we pushed it more wo7ld probably win a game, but we forced shots and got them on a 17-0 run based on our mistakes. One of the dumbest losses of the season for sure.

We often complain about our health, this Dallas team:
- lost Kyrie with ACL tear
- lost Davis in first game where he played like prime Wilt due non contact injury ( up until last week)
- lost Livley for near whole season
- lost Gafford to knee injury for 4 weeks and counting
- lost Exum for probably rest of a season
- lost Prosper for rest of a season

And casually have Washington on day to day status. They went from title contender to starting guy they signed on 10 days contract in matter of 1 month, post Luka injury
That feels like curse more than injury list.
