Hopefully Bulls, Spurs, Heat and Blazers can all get wins and we can completely lock in that 7th slot with like 5 games to go. Wonder if they break out the full squad preview in that case.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Exactly what I’m hoping for lol. I’m getting tired of watching this crap.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist that believes the draft is rigged, but if the Mavs somehow win the lottery I might have to re-evaluate that .

When you see stuff like the Pelicans winning the #1 pick while being run by the NBa with bad odds, and LeBron James blatantly hinting that they rigged his draft to get him to Cleveland, there’s a lot that adds to the conspiracy. I wouldn’t put it past them to have rigged in the past (especially under Stern) and to continue to find innovative ways to do so in the future.

You're so weird man.

Always hoping for dire situations and unfavorable outcomes to play out just so you can have your little "SEE I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG!" moment.

From wishing injuries on our guys to wanting a division rival to succeed more than us, you continue to impress me with how low you can stoop.

Do better.

How is this a dire situation or an unfavourable outcome? We aren't winning the 1st OA pick, it's simply put, not a realistic outcome. I have never wished injuries on our guys, so you can stuff that and stop making **** up. There is no "see I was right" moment that could come from another team winning the pick, if you're going to criticise my posts, grow and pair and attack them without making up multiple little storylines in your head. Also who cares if it's a division rival, or anyone else. Someone is getting the pick, and it isn't us.

It doesn't matter who gets it, we still need to build our team to be better, crybaby posts like this are what make me laugh at the thought of a team like the sixers getting the pick

The most favourable outcome is that we obviously get the pick over anyone else, so stop getting your panties in such a bunch. I would assume people on here are smart enough to figure that out, thanks for proving me wrong I guess. Soft as Charmin I swear to god.

Would that be the worst possible situation for Flagg?

Expectations would be on him immediately to turn the Sixers around.

And really, the problem now for the Sixers is long-term injuries and age. Is it even possible for Embiid & PG to return to form?

I don't see how, Grimes has been balling out, Maxey is legit, and adding Flagg to that would be a fantastic base. They developed Embiid into an MVP, being on a team that can manage that is a good place for any player.

Really the only ankle around their waist is the PG contract, regardless of Embiid and how much people want to clown on him, you'd be very wrong if you think they couldn't move him for a serious package. If they won the 1st pick they could rebuild in the blink of an eye.

I think him going to places like CHA/WAS/ATL being way worse places for him to land, just languish in **** for 5+ years until he demands to be moved. Sounds way worse IMO.

Delon Wright
Lebron

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

So are we closer to seeing Ingram now or do they still think we have a shot at Nets or 76ers?

I thought we blew it back in January when we won 7-8 games but it’s looking like it doesn’t matter. The Sixers and Nets don’t look like they’re winning another game this season so if we went like 1-6 or something they’d still probably ending up overtaking us down the stretch here. Thankfully we can still hold off the Bulls/Heat/Spurs.

Team Compete tried telling everyone to just enjoy the W's. It also probably wasn't realistic that this team was never going to put together a good stretch of games at any point, even really bad teams do that. Everyone keeps crying about the 8-2 stretch but if we went 5-5 instead we would be tied with the Nets and Sixers and still no real chance of holding either team off. If we went 4-6, still very unlikely with just a 1 game edge. We would have needed to go 3-7 to start having a decent chance and 2-8 to have a really good chance. So yeah, I think people continue to way overreact to that January run we had.

Going higher is over even if we lose out so I think the only team that poses a threat to locking up 7th early is the Spurs who have the 4th hardest schedule remaining. The combination of their schedule and ours makes the possibility of getting into a tie or worse with them seem plausible even with a 5 game edge with 9 to play(10 for them).

Plausible maybe, but not likely. Even if they win 1 game out of 10, we would still need to go 6-3 just to get into a tie for 7th. They also haven't been putting out tanking line-ups at all either. Funny thing though is we play each other for the last game of the season so it would be pretty comical to see what happens if that game actually mattered from that perspective.

So, does that mean sometimes a guy needs to tear an ACL for the greater good of the team?

Was he also being philosophical when he guaranteed we were finishing ahead of the Bulls?

So we done worrying?

We're locked in at 7 unless something just wacky happens with SA.

My assumption is it's in the 95-98% chance we're at 7.

Return to Toronto Raptors
