LeBron threw and incredibly lazy inbound pass for that Giddey steal, he was not locked in at all.

Saw a few threads in the General Board. Feels like it’s been a minute since we got talked about again.

I mean we beat the Lakers twice in a week.
One was a historic beat down. The greatest margin in a Bulls win against the Lakers.
The other on a historic come back to literally steal the game in 40s capped off with a half court buzzer beater.

Of course we are the GB darlings, people hate the Lakers

You should look at reddit. I have seen like 9 different postings of the last 2 minutes. One from Brazil and another with the futbol audio for a 20s "GOOOOOOOOOOAL" call.

We scored 9 points in 12s to beat the Lakers people are going bananas

Laker fans on reddit are salty AF right now. I'm thirsty for just reading their comments.

DropStep wrote:So Giddey got that steal, faced up, stared LeBron in the eye for a second, and then hit Coby with the dime. Was he deciding what to do like a human being, or was he actually sucking Reaves in a step to give Coby extra space? Because it was a great play regardless (and a weak pass by LeBron), but when something weird happens, if he is that far ahead of the game in real time that he did that on purpose, he is going to be really good for a long time.

Also, LeBron is still remarkably good, but he got played repeatedly. I don't get a ton of joy saying that, but that's what I thought. MJ never looked quite like that, to my memory, for whatever that isn't worth.

LeBron's head is not in basketball right now, or has not been for some time. It's clear with his recent media run that his head is some place else. Which is pretty dumb... the mission of his media run seems to be him trying to defend or build his legacy, but he's doing that while fumbling the actual basketball part. Yes, MJ and Kobe would've just stuck with competing. But LeBron is wired differently than those 2.

Between him and Matt Peck on those streams I feel like an 8 year again who wants to throw his snes controller and TV at the wall out of immense frustration.

Bulls were punched in the mouth and they responded.

Don’t know how you can’t be getting excited about Giddey Coby Buz. All three are improving rapidly in their new roles.

Those 10 seconds will go down in Bulls lore!

I am starting to think, despite some contrary opinions, that this Giddey kid might be pretty good

Probably the most wild finish to an NBA game I've ever seen. I would have been totally content with a 1 point loss in a hard fought finish, but Giddey had other ideas.

Can we just beat the Thunder now?

This win is not only epic but I think it finally gives this team an identity that has long been missing and in search of.

With Giddey and Coby breaking out in a big way, there's no way we undo this. Like it or not, Giddey and Coby are now the core identity of this team. You see the chemistry between them, and how everybody on that team gather around them and embrace them.

The last minute or so, absolute madness. One of the most exhilarating minutes of basketball I have ever seen.

Coby-Giddey-Matas looks like a pretty decent core all of a sudden. You put a 1-A next to them and you're looking at something pretty good, but that's the hard part - getting 1-As is the hardest thing to do in the NBA (unless you're the Lakers). All-NBA types just don't change teams in FA anymore and we don't have the assets to acquire one unless they're old and well past their prime.
