Yeah, was gonna say the same thing. We kinda pulled it outa the hat last night...so only fair to get bit tonight. What can you do? The guy hit a half-court shot...good on him.

It's not just that, Lebron left his guy open for an easy corner 3(shortest distance) and then about 4 seconds later, made a lazy inbound pass which was intercepted. :banghead:
I get it, they are tired, well except for Lebron but Reaves and Doncic also sat out a game but No more back to backs so no more excuses.

I don't see it for this team. How many champions in the last 25 years have had this many doubts and gone to win it all? Maybe none. 2011 Mavs maybe?

Team is too top-heavy in terms of talent, ability, and attributes. Too many playmakers and not enought shooters and finishers. No defensive force outside of DFS and Vando (who won't be playable in the playoffs). Too thin of a bench. I don't trust anyone to make an open three at the end of a game, that includes Austin and Luka.

Team is easy to score against now. Don't know what happened. I'm tired of playing on the road in the first round, man. The last time we had HCA in the playoffs was 2012 (can't count bubble).

Lebron's carelessness three separate times in a span of 12 seconds!!!!
up 5, twelve seconds to go, Lebron carelessly doesnt cover his man
up 2, six seconds to go, Lebron carelessly inbounds a stupid lazy pass
up 1 (kudos to AR), three seconds to go, Lebron complacently let's pedo guy throw up a hail mary.

Unbelievable loss. Absolutely heart wrenching loss. ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I used to hate Lebron then he joined the Lakers and started defending him.
But he is currently hitting 1 of 19 from the 3pt area and he just announced he is re-starting his podcast show this time with Steve Nash? :banghead:
Instead of getting extra practice shooting time or game planning with JJ and Luka, he decides now is the time to take another gig with 9 RS games and currently struggling. :banghead:

I've always defended Lebron too when he joined us. But this is the first time I am flat out blaming him for this mess we are currently in.

Win: we can still vie for some playoff run

Look...this team is half-baked at best. They scored a golden opportunity, and grabbed it. It's missing huge pieces, and will take a season or two to build around Luka. Lebron is what it is....he's commanding a huge salary, but they're not gonna replace him. Thankfully he's not garbage...but we're sort of in limbo until he decides to hang them up.

We went on a nice little run there, but I think teams have some film now, and are starting to figure out our (glaring) gaps. But we'll see. There just really isn't a "great" team out there. We have the offense (if it starts clicking) to beat anyone. So at least there is (slim) hope. We'll see. I think it's fair to go into this post-season with little to no expectations. Our chances of doing something amazing are quite low. But then they always were, IMO. This team 3 - 4 months ago was doing nothing.

Go in with little expectations...and know that we're half-baked. If you approach this in any other way....you're just asking for disappointment.

Gotta guard the three point line better on defense. Gotta swing the ball more on offense.

Yeah. Good bounce-back win. Fun game.

Austin is a total assassin. MIPY candidate.

8 games in 2 weeks. Got a couple tough ones in there. Big, big win tonight.

That GS game is big. Gotta win that. They're on our heels.

Big game against Houston tomorrow. We need to punch them in the mouth, first quarter. Will be a quality win to get, a real test. Good team. Young and disciplined.

They’ll try to rough Luka up to get him into technical foul trouble — and to just to rough him up. Good coach, too, even if he’s an a hole.

^that coach yeah is an a hole but he's also mentally immature. I haven't seen any coach "front" an opposing player like that on court because his emotions got riled up, that's middle school playground state of mind he's holding onto.

Two home games against Houston, and two road games against OKC coming up. That should just about show us how we stack. If we can't beat them...then we can't beat them =0)

If we go:
0-2 Houston 0-2 okc
Then it's time to focus on next season

1-1 Houston 0-2 okc
Meet okc in the conf finals to our demise

1-1 Houston 1-1 okc
Intriguing. Let's see if JJ can Phil Jackson our way into the NBA finals.

2-0 Houston 2-0 okc
We're bringing in the banner. Jeanie owes us two parades.
