Simple 1-on-1 trade... Toppin for DJJ...
Indiana gets a versatile, long, and super-athletic defender while maintaining a lob threat. They also cut a few million to help with Turner's extension.
The Clippers get the best player, who in my opinion fits their needs very well. More size at the 4... even being able to give them minutes as a stretch 5 when opponents plan to stop Zubac.

Depending on what the rest of the offseason brings the Pacers, maybe, sure. Could be.

I like DJJ more than Toppin at the same price, and Obadaiah is more expensive...

Re: Pacers/Clippers
I like DJJ a lot, and would do this deal if money were no concern. The problem is, we need to cut more than just 4 million off of Toppin's salary (Toppin makes 14, DJJ makes 10); we probably need to lose the whole thing, or get back someone on a very low rookie/minimum salary. We need to cut like 10 mil of Toppin's salary at least.
So I think we're going to find some team than can absorb Toppin into cap space or a TPE or whatever so we take back as little salary as possible. And I don't think that will be too difficult - I bet we can find a team that will gladly take Toppin in exchange for a pick or a cheap player. Toppin is solid, and could bring a lot to some lucky team. The Pistons seem like a good target to me.

he can be absorbed into an MLE under the new rules.

In that case, the Clippers take him and keep DJJ?
