Did he do something? Otherwise, Jenkins seems like he'd be a great option.

All I can think of is how they basically don't use onball screens anymore, and JA is specifically a PnR ball handler, so he doesn't have much place on a team like that. If they come out running a bunch of picks for JA, then we'll have our answer

has to be locker room stuff. maybe Ja/Jaren hate him or something.

Could be, but they seemed like they were in a good place before Ja decided to pretend that he's from the hood and got suspended/catastrophically injured.

At least we’ve had their number… Knicks fans should wake up to the fact that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I wouldn’t trade Towns for JJJ nor Brunson for Morant. OG is better than Bane and then there are Bridges, Hart, Mitch, Deuce … sorry I forgot how terrible we are. And we have no picks :o

So apparently his assistant who is now the interim HC created the offensive system they are using this year. His name is Lisalo and based off the rumors mentioned in the general board he is who they want to be the HC next year. He and Jenkins have been arguing publicly about the team and it seems one of them had to go and the team chose Lisalo.

The timing couldn’t be worst which really puts into perspective how much the team wanted to keep Lisalo.

Apparently, Jenkins doesn't like playing anyone 30+ minutes per game.

We should have worked out a trade

Knicks’ Pacome Dadiet has an elite performance in the G-League
The first-round pick went to Westchester to play in their G-League game against the Celtics’ G-League affiliate in Maine and did not disappoint. Dadiet recorded a career-high 25 points, and five rebounds, and knocked down seven three-pointers to help secure the win and a playoff berth for Westchester.

This is all about making JA happy then, his PnR frequency was 44% last season, it's 27% this year. The assistant coach is the one that installed that new offense that runs without any real screens.

He's been out for 2 weeks and is making his comeback tomorrow, one day after they fired the coach

I don't know what's going on with that team, but JA definitely didn't like that offense, which is funny because it could work with a PG that can actually shoot.

you'll probably disagree but i feel like the grizz are a team that always plays above their talent. ja missed half their games this year and they're still in the chase for 2nd or 3rd in the west. what more do people expect ?
