Even if this is a Casey/Nurse situation where you feel the assistant is the better choice, disrupting continuity at the end of the season when you should be prepping for playoffs is such an insane idea. I remember when he benched Adams 2 years ago against Wolves and scraped by with his only playoff series win, only to bring a covid ridden Adams back to a squad that injured themselves going too hard in the first round.

The last Thunder game is a microcosm of that and indicative of how the post season would play out.

The guy will be lucky to get another NBA head coach gig and struggle to do much more then run scrimmage in a contending team.

Someone posted yesterday (game thread?) the Grizzlies record against the other winning teams. It wasn't good. Losing records against most. So maybe, despite their record, they aren't as good as they seem by reading stats and standings. And Jenkins is the resulting casualty.

English is not my native language so I often forget that English orthography is nonphonemic (ie, not pronounced as written). My native language is relatively phonemic (we do have our irregularities as well, though) so my natural instict is to just try to pronounce foreign words as written but I can see why that would be an issue for native English speakers.

Grizzlies fan here aswell and the rotation philosophy of Jenkins is the exact opposite of thibs in new York.

Playing all his players less then 30 minutes a game no matter the situation was driving us fans crazy for years now and the players aswell.

Sure you get great story's of development like Scotty pippen JR however it makes no since for him to share the minutes with JA 50/50.

In my opinion Jenking is one of the best development coaches in the NBA but his x/o s and game plans are in the botton of the league.

Ok you guys are about to find out what bad coaching looks like-

Most of these coaches don’t even have a definable strategy- at least you know what Jenkins is trying to accomplish- and i checked - his playoff rotations are tighter and the starter minutes are up in the playoffs -

So you are frustrated that he A- gives his starters more rest in regular season B- gets more bench players engaged and developed in regular season C- do great with the play calls-

Hope the next guy is better at it but it’s unlikely
