He's been out for 2 weeks and is making his comeback tomorrow, one day after they fired the coach

I don't know what's going on with that team, but JA definitely didn't like that offense, which is funny because it could work with a PG that can actually shoot.

you'll probably disagree but i feel like the grizz are a team that always plays above their talent. ja missed half their games this year and they're still in the chase for 2nd or 3rd in the west. what more do people expect ?

They have talent, Aladama would be a better starter for us than Josh. What they're missing is what they tried to trade for (Marcus Smart) which is the defensive wing. Wells has been good but he's still just a rookie, we'd be talking about them differently if they had gotten OG when they tried to trade for him.

Another year, another wasted season, he's a BUM.

His ankles must be made of glass. I never seen someone hurt their ankle so often like this in a while

On that Steph trajectory 8-)

This is all about making JA happy then, his PnR frequency was 44% last season, it's 27% this year. The assistant coach is the one that installed that new offense that runs without any real screens.

is it still even ja's team like that ? he's not even playing half the time. feels more like jjj's team now.

Who's this JA guy people are talking about. I thought Memphis best player was Jar Morant

Might be some truth to this - supposedly they were worried their assistant was bouncing and wanted to keep him... maybe we should have kept bryant.

nba schedule needs AI intervention to prevent things like what happened to the cavs tonight. 2nd night of a back to back on the road against the pistons who had not played since Tuesday. this example happens all the time. why can't they schedule back to backs to be fair where both teams are equally disadvantaged? or at worst one team is on 1 day rest not 2+

edit: then the cavs will have 2 days rest when they play the knicks on the 2nd night of a back to back. maybe the logic is those disadvantages even out over the season? still stupid to me.

Who will be interested in Jenkins? I'd say Bulls, Wizards, maybe Sixers

If we somehow don't fire Thibs in the offseason, I'd say hire Jenkins as an assistant so we can promote him to hc in case we fire Thibs in the season

I find it unsettling anyway that the Pistons beat them.

Schedule is more out of whack due to stupid azz in season tournament. Should get rid of B2B games completely.

I’d welcome a reduced amount of play. Make games count more, install one game on weekdays, one on weekends for all teams.

Raptors just won 3 in a row without RJ. Addition by subtraction. Looks like they're gonna trade him since they traded for his replacement (Ingram).

East's playoff picture is basically set. West is such a coin toss at 4 THRU 8. Memphis might slide. Clippers last game of the season is against Golden State. Minnesota has an easier schedule.

If Minny was in the east they would be the 5th seed right now. The west is really tough.

Not a fan of these lists, especially Nate’s. Not sure how Ime is left off and Kerr is so low in both. Kenny over Kerr is hilarious.

Yeah. I've been calling T-Wolves to be the 6th Seed before the Warriors trade. I still think they'll probably get it.
