the NBA gave the hornets the first pick to help MJ.

The winner of the draft proves the conspiracy exists no matter who wins the draft.

MJ doesn't own the team anymore lol

After doing more research, I also think that the not only is the Draft Lottery rigged but I think the NBA is rigged altogether.

The NBA was founded in 1946

The Moon landing was in 1969

Silver is founded on the Moon.

Adam Silver's connection to the Moon is a clear indicator that he's an alien who was the perfect proxy for the commissioner since his name has the same amount of letters as the word basketball (10).

If you subtract the NBA founding year from the year of the moon landing, you get 23.

23 gives you the true 1 reigning goat, MJ.

If you add the number 1 (current reigning goat) to the number of letters in Silver's name, you get 11.

11 is the number of championships the original goat in Bill Russell won and the number of championships the goat coach in Phil Jackson won.

All of this leads me to believe after connecting the dots, there are decisions that are being in the NBA that are bigger than us. Only aliens could have plotted all of these events so cunningly but leave the breadcrumbs for us to figure out the hidden truths behind using the NBA as a farming system to build a military of supremely athletic earth slaves.

There are no coincidences, only inconvenient and hard truths.

You're truly deranged if you think the NBA benefits by building winners in Cleveland, New Orleans and San Antonio over NYC, Chicago and DC. The later has way more people and way more $$.

The fact you cite them as evidence for a conspiracy tells me nothing could falsify your belief in it.

Just wait for the reasons this year will be seen as rigged. You can make-up a nice story for every lottery team.

Wizards - awful team in a big market needs reviving
Sixers - rewarded for bad luck with Embiid and/or making the Sixers a contender
Raptors - one of the biggest markets in the league but can't attract FAs so they get thrown a bone
Pelicans - team up Flagg with Zion
Hornets - reward the floundering team with the local Duke kid
Mavs - reward for gifting Luka to LA
Spurs - build the next superteam

Etc.

Exactly. I have conspiracy theorists to tell me what they need to stop believing in conspiracies. So I'll them what I need to happen for me to believe in the conspiracy theory: reporting.

If major news organizations come out with credible reporting of a conspiracy I'll believe in it. That isn't an outrageous demand. Given how many people are involved in the conspiracy it should be easy to expose.

Mainstream media is owned by billionnaires with their own political agendas. It's hardly independent. Just look at their coverage of Gaza. Or their coverage of the elections.

"Conspiracies" are everywhere in capitalism because those with money have the power to cover up whatever they want to cover up (look at Epstein). The system is designed that way.

If you see a scenario where it makes more sense than not that some rich guys are manipulating the facts to serve their own interests, then that's probably what's happenging.

You're sorta right, but ultimately wrong.

You are correct that the ultra-wealthy have the power and control the narratives. Many of them use those advantages to lie, cheat, and steal. That is true. However, the part you miss is that all because all NBA owners are ultra-wealthy, they don't have power over each other.

Thus, the draft lottery is clean.

Times have changed due to the abundance of information and updated world views as a result. Your boomer world view is obsolete, people arent as naive.

Leave it to Beaver and all those sitcoms you watched growing up weren't real. That American Dream doesn't exist homie. The younger generations mock you for your child like and simple understanding of human nature, greed, and the real world.

I get it. People are proudly stupid because it is much easier to gather into congregations of idiocy. The embrace of collective stupidity provides much needed warmth when you are a stupid herd animal.

It is funny you think I watched leave it to **** beaver or that I ever believed in the american dream.

The NBA has been openly rigged since Stern started talking quite openly about his marketing plan built around ~ rigging the NBA.

Whether or how the lottery is rigged is a slightly different matter. I actually think they prefer controlling ‘knowns’ over ‘unknowns’, and if/when they want to rig the lottery, it’s with ‘rules’ like how they screwed the Canadian expansion teams and then immediately dropped those rules for subsequent American expansion teams.

As for NY, the answer is Dolan. You can bring a horse to water, but you can’t make him stop being an ****.

I wouldnt say the draft is necessarily "rigged".

HOWEVER, Dallas sits at a 1.3% chance to win the #1 pick.

After the whole Doncic debacle, and their GM choosing specifically LA as the team to send him, I would 100% believe it was rigged should they magically land Cooper Flagg.

This is similar to New Orleans trading away Anthony Davis and then them winning the Zion Williamson lottery with 6% chance.

The better question is how much happenstance has to take place for non-believers to buy into the idea that it is absolutely rigged.

But this is so preposterous, wouldn't they want to avoid this kind of WWE rigged nonsense?

Yup. I always have 2 questions for "NBA is rigged" crowd.
1. Why did the NBA allow NYC's team to suck for decades?
2. Why did the NBA hand 3 can't miss HOFers to the San Antonio Spurs who have 0 national profile?

The big market phenomenon wasn't a thing back then. The Clipps were paperbag status during this time as well.

Y'all gotta sit this one out. This was extremely rigged. Take a break and enjoy the games tonight. You get no brownie points for going after the "rigged crowd" after this debacle.

Considering there’s precedent with live video footage of them rigging it in front of the world in 1985 it’s not that big a stretch.

The fact that Harrison only talked to ONE TEAM proves that this league is cooked. Absolutely Shameless.
