Looking for those of you that want a pass-first PG (I am not on that list):

Black, Howard, and both 2025 FPRs is a good trade for Orlando. A trade the Bulls would not make.

Orlando needs shooters. The insanity of a need for a "play maker" drives me insane.
Black is probably better anyway

Giddey can pass, shoot and creates for others while being 6'8". Black doesn't not create for others, plays decent defense even though he gets lost often but can shoot occasionally.

I mean, he is good. Net Points have him top 75 and he's only 22.

I watch every game and haven't seen Black out of position on defense once. Black isn't asked to create. We have 2 high usage players who do that. Just like when Giddey averaged 10 ppg when they had Lavine

I've been calling for the coaching staff to run the offense thru Black more. He may be a better option than Franz while he's in a slump.

Giddey is soon going to be making Suggs-money. There is no gosh darn way in heck the Magic can afford Giddey. Better just to hang on to Black.

Assuming WePark will do nothing to improve the roster, then for opening night of 2025/26 kind of needs to be:

Black/Anthony
Suggs/Caldwell-Pope
F-Wagner/da Silva
Banchero/Isaac
Carter/Bitadze/M-Wagner
(( I am not a fan of a 11-man rotation, but whatever ))

That is a very flawed roster. But: the bench unit makes a lot of sense.

p.s. please God, inform WePark to make a consolidation trade.

Man, that Pistons victory last night in Cleveland was incredible. Pistons without Cade and Tobias did it with 7 players in double figures. Just great team ball to watch with lots of fast breaks and great defense against a healthy Cavs team.

It will be interesting to see what are his future plans. If he wants to make a case for GOAT, he will need those rings, and Denver doesn't strike me like a team that is capable of building another championship roster around him.

100% and-1 here.

And the answer is, especially given "worst trade in NBA history", it's the Lakers. Jokić and Dončić are destined to play together.
And It's a Hollywood story in the making.

Sad. But inevitable.

Chicago can tie it with 10 seconds left.

Heck, Doncic has a player option after next year which is probably his last, then he can go elsewhere.

Kawhi is resting tonight, so he can play tomorrow against us.

If they don't finish terribly this year and Coach Duke ends up being good at his job, then I might be surprised if Doncic goes anywhere else.
I mean, he should still be in Dallas. His persona fit Dallas better than it does Los Angeles.
But if you watch his recent games, he seems to be having a lot of fun and is smiling a lot.

Lakers are still hamstrung for trade and draft options though.

If Bucks had any harder schedule, there would have been chance for Magic or Hawks to catch them and avoid playin, but man their schedule is a**.
5/8 games vs teams below .500, including 3 games vs tankers.

And they just got drubbed by the Hawks.

We do we "know" that there is a Finney-Smith, Hachimura, Kleber, Vanderbilt for Antetokounmpo trade coming???
The league might adust its rules on aprons to make sure the Lakers can keep having super teams, after all.
