Duncan shooting on the move is a very difficult shot. Plus his defense sucks.

I'm so impressed with Tyler's vision this year, some of the passes he makes are so nice. If he can bulk up in the offseason enough that he stops getting shut down by physical defenders, he might have one more leap in him.

Hadn’t Duncan been on a major heater though too? I feel like for the most part he’s been very solid lately, this has been a cupcake schedule too. Burks definitely needs to be in the rotation though, he’s an easy answer for a Duncan replacement when we send out his salary this summer for a star. More of a set shooter but he’s just straight up pure from 3

Duncan’s defense has always been the silent killer. Pelle is a dog on defense. He needs to stay put in the lineup.

i don't know. he tried to bulk up last year and got hurt. he's been pretty durable this year while being very agile.

I’m telling you that there is no way Duncan’s salary is getting traded with the looming repeater tax. He’s our get of of jail free card. That 10 million ETO is there breathing room against the tax line. Especially if they want to keep Mitchell and sign the draft picks or any other minimum free agents. The only expiring deals in play for trade are Anderson, Rozier, Highsmith, and Love

Our schedule is laughably bad outside the Boston and Memphis games.

41-41 is a still a reach.

I feel like we work way too hard to get Duncan his 12 points a game. A player like Burks gives you easy points without having to run plays for him.

Bam is fine. He does'nt have to put up 30 to be effective.

Well he can't. So that def wasn' what I was saying. I wrote that when the Sixers were creeping back and within like 4 points, before that huge run in the 3rd.

I'm normally not a fan of when guys bulk and he's got such a lithe frame to begin with, but its undeniable that when he gets checked by elite defenders he sometimes goes invisible. He doesn't force it anymore which is a plus, and if we got a go-to guy better than him than I'm comfortable with him as a second option as is, but just saying I think there's one more level he can reach.

I agree we lowkey waste a lot of possessions running constant action that leads to nothing while with Burks he’s just chillin in the corner or on the wings waiting to knock it down

The star will have to come from the draft. I don’t see a star en route via trade but some very good players to still be had through the trade market. Think more like a Sexton and Simons. Continue to build a good all around team with the dead weight money.
