Whoever said Knueppel is Dick is so wrong

Kid is more Manu Ginobli than Gradey Dick. Super impressed by Knueppel.

Kon Kneuppel looks great. I have questions about his ability to guard in the NBA but no doubt he has the offensive talent to be a lottery pick.

I wouldn’t put him above the other talented guards Harper, Fears, Edgecomb, Richardson, Tre Johnson

But he’s the next tier… I like him more than KJ and Demin

I don't know how anyone can watch this game and be impressed.

He can't defend stretch bigs, he's not a shot blocker (dude barely gets off the floor), isnt a good rebounder, more fouls than blocks, can't shoot, and he can't score other than Knueppel/Flagg/Proctor throwing him a lob pass. Do not draft.

Big Cs just don’t have the value they used to. Maybe in 5-6 years he becomes Rudy Gobert with a jump shot but I’d way prefer an elite offensive talent. I like Kel Ware more who was a mid pick in a weak draft last year.

I’d consider taking Maluach outside of the lottery but there is just way too much talent in the lottery this year.

Gradey and Kon had the same strengths and weaknesses coming out of college, but from a different angle.

Kon is too slow to defend in the NBA, Gradey is too weak. They both have high IQ and effort level.

They both play the same role in college and project to have the same role in the NBA.

I still think Kon's NBA comp is a blend of Josh Harts intangibles and size with Peyton Prichards shooting/slow roll use of strength to score around the basket.

But ultimately they are the same level of prospect coming out of college with the same narratives about their strengths and weaknesses.

lol if raptors draft kon she’ll be in the crowd once a year when we play in milwaukee
in my mind he’s kind of a hybrid of klay and dunleavy jr. i’m not a big fan but he’s definitely a legit nba guy

maluach does the things we need in theory but he looks so bad doing them. i feel like i could overlook the clunky style if he was a more dominant rebounder but in my mind i just see him fouling trying to box out nba guys. seems like the exact guy draymond would inadvertently kick in the nuts. but i can’t deny he could be like an edey in memphis level guy. if we were drafting like 14-22 range i’d be a lot more open to the pick.

He can't defend the perimeter, hes not very athletic, he struggled to catch simple passes(he has HORRIBLE hands), he struggles to box out, he has absolutely no post moves or counters.

Am I missing something here? What should I look out for in the second half which are these supposed good big man stuff? Do not draft.

Edey is FAR more athletic than Maluach while being bigger, stronger, longer, and he has some post moves. I need someone to tell me what I'm missing out on him, because I just don't see it.

Cooper Flagg is a more athletic/explosive, aggressive/assertive Scottie Barnes... he's literally what we want Scottie to be, I love the way he plays through contact. Flagg is going to be a big time star in the NBA.

Edey has slow feet and can't guard perimeter

Lowkey if Raps win lotto I would trade Scottie the second Flagg shows enough promise at NBA level in order to not have overlapping skillsets. Having two wings in that mold doesn't work, the league is driven by guys w/ guard skills who can take over games and talented bigs.

I wouldn't feel comfortable dumping the vast majority of cap into Flagg-Barnes at SF/PF.

I would definitely pair those 2.

Kon is 6'7 the same way Scottie is 6'9 and Gradey is 6'8. Going to measure between 6'4 and 6'5 barefoot from what I can see.
