An athletic center who can set hard screens, play defense and jump over a paperclip would be a good start.

They have three decent reserve guards on the injured list so backing up Giddey and White going forward is not really a problem. Patrick Williams is an expensive but serviceable bench wing. Matas Buzelis projects to be a dynamic scorer and is developing his 3 point shot.

A younger cheaper OG Anunoby would probably round out the wish list.

You'd lose a fight in Chicago if you talked **** about Alex Caruso.

understadably. caruso is amazing

As a Bulls fan in LA. AC is my motherf#%king guy. Happy for him.

I was a skeptic at first but at this point Josh may just be the Lisan Al Gid'dey

Dude uses his size on the boards and when driving the lane, his shot is solid even if it does look like a middle-schooler's push shot and somehow he takes care of the ball even with a high dribble. Like he doesn't pass the eye test but it just works.

His counting stats are like a death by a thousand cuts. Dude just contributes every single quarter, either on the boards, scoring or passing, even when there is a lull in one aspect he is still making noise in another.

And his chemistry with Coby is top tier. They are playing great together. Coby just won EC player of the week two weeks in a row and he may not get the third because Giddey has ALSO been THAT good. It is crazy.

I don't think Giddey is the type to play hard for a contract and then fall off.

He'll always play hard, regardless of his pay.

ive always been higher than most on giddey on the thunder board. i have always took his strong finishing of seasons as a positive trait. and also always highlighted how young he was (younger than both chet and jdub)

i think he has clear physical limitations that might hinder his upside as a lead guard (arm lenght and wingspan, mainly), but definitely the prototypical high volume/dominant off ball wing scorer is the best fit for giddey.

i love the return we got in caruso though. now lets see what we got in nikola topic.

Outside his IQ it’s his top skill along with consistent improvement.

Having your team leaders hustle like he does helps so much in setting the tone and establishing culture. I certainly did not see this coming. I thought he was all IQ.

People always talks bout athleticism as only jumping and sprinting.

Endurance is just as important and Giddey has one of the biggest motors in the league.

Top 10 in total court distance run this season as - 21/22 year old is impressive.

Dang.

You guys are actually getting me excited about the Bulls.

The vision is there.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Bad game tonight for Giddey. Didn’t have it offensively and abused all game defensively.

Yep. Mavs def played him different. Very physical. Put PFs in him in PJ and Kai. Naji all over him.

Dude looked tired. Didn’t have that next gear tonight.

But that Buzelis kid…

BUZELIS!! He's a STUD. Bulls struck gold with him. I was surprised Detroit didn't draft him. The only team I figured wouldn't draft him was Portland after the Deni Avdija trade.

There were a couple folks on the board mad about not taking Buzelis. They aren’t mad now. Buz may indeed turn out great, but Holland is exactly the kind of player Pistons fans love. Cocky, dunk on you athletic, and dialed in on defense. He’s a jumper away from being a real 2-way stud, and his shot isn’t broken looking like Ausar’s, it just isn’t falling much yet.

Got ya. I haven't been able to watch much of him due to how I watch League Pass. Glad to hear he's got that potential. Just thought they'd want a bigger 3/4 especially with draft Ausar just the year before.

Huge third quarter from Josh. He's somehow turned into Jimmy Butler as a foul drawer. Big impact despite poor FG shooting. Kidd/Butler vibes.

That triple dub felt easy too like he left some stats on the table .
