Celts Spurn Spurs! Victory Cigar vs SAS 3/29

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Sun Mar 30, 2025 2:22 am

Omg you guys we won the big game again I'm about to lose my mind over here!

Jayson and Jrue and Luke Kornet! Also Derrick and JB and Baylor and everyone!

Celts got the win and didn't seem to spend a ton of energy doing so. Hooray!

Grizzlies Monday, Go C's!

Yet another disappointing road win. Our point differential per road game went from 10.2702702703 all the way down to 10.2631578947.

VC to Luke and CP to Jrue.

JT with 29-10-8 and it still feels like this should go to Kornet and Jrue. So, I'm voting for Rico and Tatum! :D
We won it for Al!!!

JT and Luke smoke the Cigar !

No injuries and the season long win streak continues.

No need for negative Nellies (yes I am talking to you Jaylen haters)

Yes we coasted a bit but the game was a dead rubber for both teams. I just want us to get to 60 wins again lol

Sixteen and fifteen for Kornet, give him the v c for sure. Tatum always teases triple double.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Kornet and Jrue for me. Both played awesome
JT with a usual game. He now reads the game so well and is a willing passer. On the last month he also added 1-2 shots from the elbow that are money
JB looks banged as hell. Sit him until he gets well
And another Rico sighting for extended minutes. Keep it up

Shout out to Joe for the two TOs he took to save a possession when Rico and JB were aggressively double teamed

big Kornet game!
Otherwise, a fairly dull game.
Glad that Payton got a night off
Hope Derrick gets next game off

Im ready for the playoffs, at this point. Only interesting thing left is who gets signed for the 15th roster spot on the playoff roster
still, GOOD WIN!

Possibly Luke Kornet's best game as a Celtic. One of Jrue's better outings. Tatum is Tatum, plays like a League MVP often enough. Too bad Derrick White had to play 40 minutes with Pritch out. I luv it when Jaylen Brown and Zinger let other "hot" guys have the shots.

An Alternative Perspective:

Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)

+30 Jayson Tatum 35 minutes
+29 Luke Kornet 31 minutes
+25 Jrue Holiday 34 minutes

+12.5 Derrick White 40 minutes
+11 Jaylen Brown 30 minutes
+8 Kristaps Porzingis 24 minutes
+6 Baylor Scheierman 19 minutes

+4.5 Sam Hauser 24 minutes

Team Total = 126

Baylor's sudden playability - as a rookie - is huge for a team that needs cheap talent. Another Brad masterstroke.

I remember thinking kornet was a bum. I still don't trust him in the playoffs but I love the guy. He is basically pritchard to me.

Bill Simmons was ecstatic when he fell to us in the draft, he was his number 1 guy for us if still available at that pick !

Kornet and Jokic now have the same number of 15-pt, 15-rebound, 4-ast, 0-turnover games in their career.

Kornet was great. KP a little off. I am always worried about his health
