Garbage teams coming up, play the young guys maybe somebody emerges to help in the playoffs

It’s always a tough call because you don’t want to go into a series in either a funk or just plain cold. Al and Jrue are definite rest candidates, but you want your horses to go into that first series in a good groove. Best part of the playoffs - no more back to backs :D

Yeah, injuries happen all the time. If you're too afraid of freak injuries, sit them out half the season and just play them in the postseason. I'm more fearful of them dropping first two games at home due to rust than some random ankle twist that could sideline them for a week.

It's also important that the starting five play well heading into the playoffs since they will play the most minutes in the postseason. They haven't really found their groove together this season due to guys always being out. Give me at least three games where they all play together.

Unless they really need the rest, keep playing except for B2Bs. There's enough break between last day of regular season and start of first round. C's last game is April 13. Start of R1 is either April 19 or 20.

People are going to be shocked at how dominant we are in the playoffs.

Celtics all-time career assist numbers are interesting.

No big surprises among the PGs but, for example, only half the top 10 were PGs. Guessing the top 5 non-PGs in order is a pretty good challenge.

https://www.landofbasketball.com/all_time_leaders/celtics/assists_total_career_rs.htm

Horford is about to pass Parish and McHale and take the 20th spot. Tatum will soon pass Toine for 15th, maybe this season, maybe very early next.

Here's the rest of the schedule:

@SAS: no Wemby, no Fox, tanking
@MEM: WTF did they just do?
v. MIA: disaster post-Butler
v. PHX: disaster, no defense
v. WSH: worst East team, tanking
@NYK: no Brunson, slumping
@ORL: only decent team left
v. CHA: no Ball, no Miller, tanking
v. CHA: no Ball, no Miller, tanking

If we don't get to 60 while also resting our guys here and there, it would be a shame.

With the spotlight pointed elsewhere, the Celtics are playing their best ball of the season with the Playoffs tipping off in exactly three weeks.

Last 26 Games: At 22-4, the Celtics have the best record in the East and 2nd-best record in the NBA since Jan. 28, ranking in the top five in both offensive and defensive efficiency

Best Road Team: Boston has the top road record for the season at 30-7 (.811) and has been even better since Jan. 28 – going 13-1 (.929)

Defense Travels: The key to Boston’s road dominance? The Celtics rank 2nd in defensive rating on the road (108.4) compared to 12th at home (112.1)

Knocking Down 3s: Boston’s 13-11 stretch in the middle of the season saw the Celtics shoot just 35.5% from deep (20th in the NBA). Since then, they have shot 38.3% on 3s (3rd in NBA)

After winning the chip, I said that health was more important this season than seeding because they have proven they can win on the road. The east was weak enough that the 2nd seed became a lock even while they were practicing good load management. :D

GB already making excuses for why Celtics will repeat. Always something lmao. Now they’re saying Celtics have an easy path to the finals. Cleveland has one of the best records in recent history yet that isn’t enough and the west is “tougher”. West has always been overrated. OKC and Lakers are the only teams that stand to make it out the west. Even last year, the west was trash and I had the Celtics waxing every single team with ease. If Minnesota made it to the finals, might’ve been even worse beatdown than Dallas

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Celtics will wax the Lakers if they somehow make it out of the west.

I think they wax all of West except OKC. Lakers vs Celtics would obviously be what’s best for ratings. Lakers have no big men which makes them an easy matchup.

Right now Celtics are one happy family.

Really think Aldama and Bane are having relays like what White and Rico did?

The greatness of coach Taylor Jenkins ended up being all for naught because the players tuned him out.

The average coach who the players listen to will always have more success than a genius coach who is not a player's coach.

I give some credit to Joe for making the Celtics a happy family.

Luke 1000% knows it and could probably quote most of it just based on how goofy he is. And I don’t mean that as an insult either…
