philly did that in the playoffs and he was making them. he's been a pretty big playoff performer for us. he just probably shouldn't be starting. the knicks desperately need a guy starting who's really an outside shooter who's happy just to stand in the corner. they have guys that can shoot but they're not pure shooters.

I don't want to get rid of jHart for all the reasons you mentioend but limiting his role is necessary.

He is a minimum contract on a one year deal. If we were to offer him a minimum 2 year guaranteed deal I think he would be likely to come back.
