He pushes and shoves and plays hard physical basketball but he doesn't play dirty. He's contested everything but he isn't shoving some guy mid air on a fast break or taking people out by the legs diving, etc. He physical and he talks crap but he isn't trying to hurt anyone. I love it from him... if anything sometimes I get annoyed when the refs are calling it tighter and he is still pushing on rebounds and getting costly fouls but if you're a fan of Pistons basketball its hard to not be a fan of physical play.

The league has been missing this big time. Players have gotten too friendly with each other the competitive fire isn't really there like it used to be especially in the regular season its turning more and more into exhibition season.

Didn't he pull giannis down from behind?
He's for sure had a few ugly plays. Not going to excuse them because he has 100% gone too far at times. I don't like it for him, the team or the league. But in general he's not a dirty player. He plays hard & he plays physical, but he's not out there cheap shotting guys. What most of us want is for him to walk that line without going over as he sometimes does.

But him coming to be the "enforcer" when another guy on his team is getting handled? No problems with that. He could knock 3 guys out and I wouldn't care. Don't **** with his teammates if you don't wanna get hit.

No issue with some toughness but his inability to control his temper is an exploitable weakness no matter how you slice it.

NBA players aren’t scared of Stew going off.

The Pacers baited him masterfully in that January (?) game and he ate it up hook, line, and sinker. I don't like the matchup with the Pacers regardless but nonetheless I'm feeling relatively confident the Pistons will manage to win at least one playoff for the first time since George W. Bush was still in the White House, which makes this season a resounding success IMO.

The real maturation for Stew will be for a player to come up to him and start yapping and for Stew to just laugh and not try to jaw back. Rodman got to that point where he saw the value in doing the stuff that gets under the opponents skin but then would simply let the opponent get a tech over it. 100% something that can help this team hopefully he figures it out sooner rather than later.

That was such a minimal tug of the jersey on a play where you're just trying to foul and not give up an And 1 and Giannis flopped to the ground... watch the replay. Sure you can look at it and say its not a basketball play, but that's not a play where Stew used any type of force whatsoever.

This take is so irritatingly low hanging fruit. Wtf does LeBron have to do with any of this?

Nah fam, he's elbowed multiple people in the throat on face-guard box outs when literally just standing there in front of his man woulda sufficed. He has a tendency for unnecessary meathead nonsense.

Funny enough if players actually voted on this, it would be Gobert. Apparently nobody likes that dude.

With all the replays available to the league office, if DDV doesn’t get the longest suspension for this, I’m gonna be pissed.

Grabbing Holland’s jersey, elbow to the face or neck, shoving him into the stands (which is the only thing that caused the fans to be involved, it could have taken place on the court)… he’s the main culprit. Stew will get multiple games because he’s Stew, but DiVincenzo better get 5.

I'm wondering if they'll want until after Wednesday to announce the suspensions, to make ESPN happy.

Are people really pissed Stewart came to the defense of our 19 year old rookie?

Reid started the altercation and DD escalated to physical. I love having Stewart on this team and I don’t give a single **** what anyone else thinks of him.

For some reason some of our fans constantly seek admiration from those on the general board instead of just liking our guys and not giving an eff.

Apparently, Draymond Green and Igualada are frustrated because they believe they were robbed of a DPOY or two. Gobert had to spend a few days at a place where they lock you in rooms underground to get to know yourself before the World Cup and the training camp with France. I think he had a pretty bad time.
