They’re not given the option. Paolo has to choose to give the ball up once it’s in his hands and he wasn’t doing that tonight. Forced a lot of bad shots and turned the ball over too much down the stretch.

Didn’t feel like trusted anyone tonight and to be honestly I cant blame him, no one else was worthy of trust.

I think it was more that Player of the Week went to his head and Paolo wanted to be the hero. KCP was a perfect 3-3 from 3. CoJo was a perfect 2-2 from 3. Meanwhile Paolo went 1-7 and Franz went 1-8. Paolo had 7 TOs (half of the team’s total). To trust your own terrible game over passing to open teammates who are shooting well from outside just isn’t healthy teamwork.

They take 50% of shots, it really isn't normal shot distribution.
Not a single other duo does that.

They will make right plays and pass, but both look to score first. It was like that with Kawhi and George.
At the end of a day you need PG to take ball away from both, to give the ball to others and keep defense honest if nothing else

But beyond all that, Mosley definitely needs to be fired and they need to hire someone who can/will actually get Paolo and Franz to try and do stuff that isn't your turn, my turn spam isolations.

Mosley’s out of his league. That’s become extraordinarily clear. But they can surround him with better assistants and his effect is minimized. Players seem to like him. I’m not sure that matters.

Agree though - fire everyone not named Paolo, Franz & Suggs to the moon. I’d love to keep Isaac but they won’t **** play him more than 10-14 mins a game. And this colossal DIPSHÍT of a GM signed him to a LTC. It defies logic.

Hailey Van Suggs lost tonight, so maybe Jalen will start coming to some games now. Her college career is over.

Franz went down December 7th... so yeah, that checks out.

How much are Suggs and Mo truly worth?

Franz came back on Jan 23 and the Magic are just 6-11 at home since then.

Ownership made them offer that deal is the logical reasoning. He is a conservative influencer and that jives extremely well with the ownership extremely conservative ideology. There is no other reason you would sign a guy that is unreliable and limited and missed significant time for 5 years.

Well Franz is 6th in FGA per game, Paolo would have been 5th if he had qualifying numbers, but then Tatum and Brown and SGA J-Dub combine for almost the same number of FGA and their teams are doing fine...

That's my point though... Suggs and Mo are the only players that we're missing since then but that's our entire bench offense and our all-defensive guard that shot 40% from deep last year.

Anyway, I was wondering a few weeks ago who I would go after as far as coaches are concerned but wasn't sure since all the retreads I would want were snatched up over the last few years (Kenny Atkinson specifically) but with Jenkins now available, it should be an easy decision for the organization... should be

Jason Kidd absolutely destroyed Mosely last week. We got more than just lack of guard and shooting problems.

I highly doubt that had anything to do with it. In fact, I’m sure it didn’t.

Isaac has been healthy all season. There is no reason he shouldn’t be getting rotational minutes at least. Hell, start him at C over Wendell.

I think we are a slightly above .500 team right now and the proof is in the pudding.
Mosley‘s got the team back to playing hard and playing pretty well. My expectations are that we will compete with good teams and put ourselves in a position to win.
