Post#1 » by bisme37 » Tue Apr 1, 2025 1:51 am

You guys we won the big game again I don't understand how this is possible but here we are!

AL HORFORD IS THE EXTRA MOST BESTEST! Also Jayson, KP, Jrue and Derrick hooray!

Really good win against a team that needed it way more than we did. 1st 6-0 road trip in franchise history! Celtics, baby!

Heat Wednesday, Go C's!

Excellent team win. The ball movement was dizzying at times, especially for Memphis players.

The C's are slowly becoming what they used to be, just in time.

Cavs (and maybe OKC, we'll see if they get there) are in deep doo-doo when the road dogs come to town in the playoffs.

I was worried about this one in Memphis without JB. Al Horford played like an All-Star. Holiday and Tatum also had big games. White and Porzingis were solid. With 5 guys playing really well, the Celtics were able to dominate without JB. Really nice 2nd Half. Incredible D considering how hot the Grizzlies were shooting early in the game.

An Alternative Perspective:

Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)

+25 Al Horford 36 minutes
+22.5 Jrue Holiday 30 minutes
+22.5 Jayson Tatum 38 minutes

+17 Derrick White 35 minutes
+15 Kristaps Porzingis 34 minutes

+9 Sam Hauser 25 minutes
+6 Payton Pritchard 24 minutes

0 Baylor Scheierman 6 minutes
-0.5 Xavier Tillman 8 minutes

Team Total = 116.5

Al's time to smoke on the VC solo.

Unfortunately the refs made it hard to enjoy an otherwise comfortable win for us with their bs calls

It's been a dang good season ... but ... it's a bummer to see how far Xavier Tillman has fallen

I was a big Tillman booster, but if those are his last minutes in a Celtics jersey (I know he’s signed for next season) I’m okay with it

This team stills shoots too many 3s. It will be their undoing in the end. 62 attempts my goodness.

Not necessarily
He played good defense, was good on the boards and drew fouls. He needs to be incorporated in the offense and not just chuck 3s

VC for Al for beating father time again. He is a beast
CP to bisme for the thread title!

Jrue played great. JT, KP, White with good games
PP needs to show up once against a good team and when being roughed on defense. It is bothering him. Bench )except Al, didn't bring it today on offense)

JT with his 13 tech foul this season. The disrespect for him is mind boggling
Ja can push KP without any reaction, Pipen jr can hack him and get the foul on the other end etc
Nevermind, just keep winning

We won. The players take what the defense gives them. Most of these were open or wide open. Some bad 3s from JT and White, but most were good ones

That’s all good but this team has chucked it up a lot more this season. I wanna see more 2 point attempts. At the end of the day they’re winning but idk if shooting all these 3s and bricking them will be enough to win back to back titles. We shall see. Need to hope someone takes out Oklahoma City and this team can beat the Cavs.
