P.J. Tucker, Knicks Agree To Two-Way Deal

The New York Knicks and P.J. Tucker will sign a two-year deal. The Knicks will hold a team option for the 25-26 season. Tucker recently was on two successive 10-day contracts with the Knicks.

Tucker appeared in one game over his two deals, in a 120-105 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on March 19. Tucker appeared in just 31 games last season.

There is nothing significant to the 2 year deal besides giving the Knicks the option to pick it up for the purposes of trade in the off season in which case Tucker gets free cash. Since Tucker has been in the league a number of years, his minimum is big enough that it might be useful.
