The question with Rollins will be whether he can consistently do this. We got all excited about Dairy Bird, but the reality is he can’t play consistent. Not enough talent.

Think Rollins has many more tools, but this next month will be critical as it relates to the size of his contract.

Yep. Dairy has a niche skill paired with a relentless motor, but with limitations athletically.

Rollins has legitimate all-star attributes, stuff you can't coach, just needs to find consistency. Sky is the limit, really. He's such an outlier from a length for height standpoint, and he's been making strides as a shooter/driver.

We've seen Josh Richardson turn to Pooh the past few years.

Honestly really crappy of the Bucks organization to not do a tribute video for Coach Bud. The man brought our first title in 50 years. He deserves to be honored
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

We shot 69/58/93 splits (nice, btw) and this was somehow a close game at the end. Turns out there was never any difference between Doc and Griffin after all....

Took it in a different direction, but look, posting can go any sort of way, it's a beautiful thing.

Hiring Doc has got to be a top 3 mistake post-championship. You could argue the order of that top 3, but it's up there. Griffin probably too, but signing Doc to that contract was wildly stupid.

I know this is an opinion that’s in the minority, but the team isn’t super far away from where they need to be.

To be clear, they need a great decision making off-season.

That will involve a new GM and a new coach, but I think there’s a few pathways to return to contention that aren’t absolute miracles.

I think it could be done by keeping Dame, and then using our assets to bring in a more capable 3rd option. Get a coach like Jenkins to maximize role-players, and run more sensible sets, consistently.

I think we could also move off Dame, and bring back a couple players who we think are on the verge of breaking out, and also improve. That vision likely involves the team getting more capable offensive and defensive players at all 5 positions. Basically, getting better defensively in space everywhere, and getting guys who can do more than catch and shoot on offense.

Things have to break our way, but I think there’s fairly plausible outcomes that could have us right back to where we need to be.

Tnt guy, I think it was Van Gundy, said that the Bucks strategy for offense, if Dame is not available, could be to use Giannis driving , drawing 3 to 4 defenders to his gravity, and then GA passing to wide open shooters ——- which the Bucks tried several times yesterday.

There is a difference. Doc is worse. I was so happy when Griffin was fired. He still wasn't the solution, but Doc was a problem.

I agree that both pathways are plausible. Makes me feel more optimistic than before.

I actually agree with this, despite my criticisms of Bud. I wouldnt say he brought a title, but he was the coach of a title team and that has value that should have been honored. I'm actually surprised.

No disagreement here, but I think the opponent was also a huge factor in both our offensive success and defensive failure. Suns can shoot, and are the worst non tanking defense in the league. Plus, we gave up 15 offensive rebounds, not totally surprising whe 6'4" dudes play significant minutes at both SF and PF.

Still no excuse for Kuzma and Prince constantly losing Allen on simple ghost screens.

I love that Nehm told Giannis that it's hard to do a tribute video for a coach and Giannis said "no it's not hard" and went on about how they should have done one.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Using what assets to get a third option? There aren't many assets. That's the problem.

I think the Bucks still think Kuzma is their third wheel. They still are isolating him for some sets, as if he is a positive offenisve force.
