I'm not sure there is much of a debate if the question is Walker vs Rhyan. Walker at LT was much better last year than Rhyan at RG.

I mean I can't blame MLF for not calling QB sneaks with old man Rodgers. He did call more this past year, just he put Kraft as the "QB" and those were very successful. I'd imagine if the rush push remains that we'll see more of that going forward

Yeah those 3 year numbers include one year of Rodgers. But 30th on 4th and 1 is terrible.

The conversion rates and the idea that it's "an automatic 1st down" shouldn't even factor into why it should be illegal though. It's entirely about using a 300lb offensive lineman like a sumo wrestler and just shoving the QB forward. An offensive player's "progress" is stopped the second that a defender stands him up and then goes backwards, so why is the complete opposite allowed when you're an offensive player? Blow the play dead the second a teammate contacts the runner from behind, and/or make it a 5-yard penalty.

I've find myself less and less interested in drafts in all sports these days. I used to LOVE studying all the prospects.

I'm not sure if it's just getting older and not finding dudes young enough to be my kids relatable or because I've seen so many draft busts I can't talk myself into the dream of 'we just drafted out next superstar'. Now pretty much every pick I'm just like "who knows, maybe they will or suck'

Same boat for me starting this year. I know I'll still watch but I have known this little about the actual prospects since I was probably 10 years old. Main reason being I am 100% out on college football and basketball with the new transfer and NIL stuff. My worst fears came true when the floodgates opened and now there is no way of putting the toothpaste back in the tube. I probably watched maybe a collective quarter of college football this year and no college basketball at all.

I think we keep Jaire. Not sure where our cap is before the draft.

But if we have the cap. Sign Asante Samuel for a 1 year prove it. We would be stacked.

Draft all D lineman and other fill ins.

The kraft push was great and we actually have done decent against the tush push. Call us lames if you want, but i don't think its a move purely out of jealousy to ban the play.

Two sources in Tuesday's voting session said clubs were split, with exactly 16 in favor of Green Bay's proposal, and that the Packers will rewrite the proposal to be broader and prohibit all pushing of the runner ahead of the next league meeting on May 20-21 in Minneapolis, in an effort to entice eight more clubs to vote for it to pass. The May proposal will likely look much different than the original, and it won't be as targeted to Philadelphia and Buffalo -- the only two teams that ran a push sneak more than five times last season.

This is better. Eliminate the "help" runners get in all forms.

Upcoming off-season schedule:

Packers' offseason program dates announced
OTAs to begin after Memorial Day
Apr 03, 2025 at 11:54 AM

GREEN BAY – The NFL has announced offseason program dates for all teams, and the Packers will officially start theirs on April 21.

Head Coach Matt LaFleur mentioned earlier this week at the league meetings that due to draft preparations in Green Bay, the Packers would conduct the first week of their offseason program virtually before bringing the players in after the draft.

From there, offseason workouts will continue through the spring, with Green Bay's OTAs to be conducted within the window of May 27-June 5. The mandatory minicamp to conclude the offseason program slated for June 10-12.

This is one guy I'm truly excited about. I hope he gets a chance at a larger role next year because he looked really good in a small sample

There seemed to be some interest in Greg Newsome II last year, any chance the Packers look to trade for him again this year. If the Browns draft Hunter their CB room might be a little crowded.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

That's an interesting one. Hafley could probably do some fun things with a hybrid S/LB. At the very least he's got good experience on special teams.

Yea my guess is he would there 5th LB/5th S and play Special teams. Can provide emergency depth at a few spots but not really someone you want on the field outside of Special teams snaps
