It’s not the GM, it’s the s***t owner that makes the decisions for the Suns. The GM didn’t want to give up everything and the farm to trade for KD, it was Ishbia that overruled him on it.

Our roster building is ****. Too many nice guys, no enforcers/ hype makers, no streach big who can actually be a threat while actually being present on defense. So the other teams center can not just clog the lane for our master mid rangers. No banger who can at least provide a body against guys like Giannis or JJJ. Kd is simply too skinny to play defense on any powerful Pf, soooooo why not have Bol on the bench just in case??? TERRIBLE options on our bench for situational basketball. Why have guys like Lee or Bol if not playable in certain situations all while not being capable of rotational duties?

He is right. I mean there comes a point - and the Suns are in the worst position without draft picks that hte longer you go with the delusions, the worse it becomes longer term

Bookers value, as we all say, is at its highest this offseason,. It can only get worse - not better

And for me, the goal is not the 7th seed - its winning at least 10+ games between APril 15 and June 15.. the goal is really 16 wins but getting bounced, swept in R1-- not good enough. So if you are not winning a title, what are you doing to win a title

Exactly

Why any Suns fan would what Bud or James Jones back is beyond belief

BUDFCK needs to go - he has coached us into the worst defense in the league

SLIM wants to keep him - WTF

-Less bashing of Bud and Jones.

-More telling all of us who YOU want to hire.

*Bonus points if you pick someone like the recently fired Jenkins or the previously fired Bob Myers....and you state why they come.

**PS: Don't say money, please and thank you.

At first glance I am interested in Jenkins but not convinced. When I heard that he was an assistant under Bud, I want to know more. He has had a lot to deal with in Memphis and they seem to always beat us but in they have not been a factor in the playoffs. I think his biggest issue is Morant. I would not want that guy part of my team no matter how talented he appears to be. I also am not convinced on Bob Myers. What magical things did he do in Golden State other than spend money? I would prefer someone like Presti. He has rebuilt the Thunder several times while making shrewd moves and picking the right guys in the draft. A young assistant that is working for a good program I think is what we need.
I do have a name if we do in fact trade KD, Steve Nash. I would at least take a look at him. He certainly knows basketball and would be a fan favorite. I think he was thrown under the bus in Brooklyn by KD. KD could be the reason that Monty and Vogel were fired. If KD stays, I am sure that Bud will be fired. I would take a look at the assistants for successful teams like Boston, Miami, GS, Houston and OKC for both positions. I don't have those names.

Why should I not bash Bud. He been fired twice before and he is miserable to deal with. James Jones has made a couple of good move in the draft recently but how soon we forget. He was either in charge or part of the conversation for many poor trades and drafts.

Trades - KD for the farm, Ayton for Nurkic, CP3 + draft picks for Beal. Dumping Ty Jerome. Feel free to add to the list.

Drafts - Ayton rather than Doncic, Jalen Smith rather than Halliburton, Josh Jackson rather than Fox or Makannan. Feel free to add to the list.

In recent years and for the foreseeable future we have no draft picks. He gets far too many kudos for picking up Dunn and Oso. Don't get me wrong I like them both, but I doubt that either will be a difference maker on a winning team going forward.

So even if Ishbia is a big part of the problem - Jones is also there. I think McDunce drafted Ayton over Doncic though. That said, I think to get better, he just needs to go

Ishbia needs a new voice at GM. And Bob Myers, I bring him up as I just don't see Ish not wantinbg to make a splash

That’s why people need to be more positive about our position next summer.

We are gonna have serveral options with KD on the roster or trading KD for a nice package. He has high value around the league because he is great yet, everyone can see it.

Even thought I am in the blow it up camp- -trading not only Durant and booker but O'Neale and Allen -- there is one thing, if a Durant trade, plus releasing Martin and Micic - allows the Suns to get under apron levels - that might create opportunities to make the team much better. So if that is the plan, I can understand that being the process. Get under the apron, see what you have and go from there. I don't think it will be enough but can at least see how the roster looks after the Durant trade

I will say that if not rebuilding and reloading around Booker is all Ishbia is willing to consider ( even though I will go on record to say this is a huge mistake), I am intrigued by the idea of KD to Boston ( his top option according to Mcaffee/ Shams).

The me mechanisms would be super difficult, but I'd look at something like a multi-team trade with:

- Porzingas coming to Phoenix.
- Holiday going to Orlando for Isaac/ filler/ Denver / 25' 1st ( 25th pick)/ ORL 25' 2nd (45th pick).
25- Yaxel Lendeborg. PF/C Budget Bam Adebayo.
29- Carter Bryant. SF/ PF PJ Washington/ Richard Jefferson.
45- Cedric Coward or John Tonje. SG Michal Redd/ SG version of Keldon Johnson with much better shooting (Coward)/ Devin Booker (John Tonje).
55- Maxime Raynuad. PF/C Pau Gasol a taller, lankier, less physical version of Alperen Sengun/ Pau Gasol.

- Trade O'neale/ Martin/ CLE 27' 1st to Washington for Marcus Smart/ CHI 26' 2nd/ PHX 26' 2nd.
- Trade Allen/ Milicic CLE 29' 1st to Utah for Sexton.

Smart/ Booker/ J Isaac/ Nance Jr/ Porzingis.
Sexton/ Trent Jr/Dunn/ Bol Bol/ Richards.
Gillespie/ Coward/ Bryant/ Lendeborg/ Ighodaro.

G League two ways (3 allowed):
1- Maxime Raynaud. (Stanford) 7'1 Center. Bigger, more finesse version of Sengun/ Pau Gasol.
2- Donnie Freeman. (Syracuse) 6'11 PF. Budget KD/ more fluid/ smooth Jabari Smith Jr.
3- Obinna anochili-killen. (Marshall) 6'8 SF/ PF. Toumani Camara/ Herb Jones.

I think that If we trade KD is gonna be a trade more simple than that.

Shams said that there were MUTUAL interest between those teams and KD. He is open probably for a trade to any of those destinations (but not GSW) so we will have some leverage because a couple of those team will be out of the playoffs early and they are gonna feel the need for an upgrade in the offseason.

And I think we are gonna want an All-Star or borderline All-Star player back (ala Butler) as a primary piece in the package.

If his top choice is Celtics, may as well go to Warriors again. Will look better. Bus rider.

Celtics with KD, Tatum, Brown would be pretty solid. It also helps you are trading him East.

Waive, don't pick up options on Martin and Micic
Trade Durant, get below second apron
Trade Booker
Trade O"Neale and Allen - get expirings at worst in summer of 2027
Suck for two years but build something
