Eh. I think this stuff about our cool analytically designed bats is overblown.

Milwaukee gave up 11 runs to the Royals yesterday. Their pitching staff is in shambles. That's honestly the real reason why we did what the Mets could never dream of doing.

Using guys who are middle relievers in a setup role against a playoff team just shocking what the result is.

Coming down from the high of the first 3 games, and the reality is you still have this bozo as manager and the analytics trying to get cute. What a loser Leiter is get to 2 strikes on the batter and give away the game, of course you walked the previous hitter.

He shouldn't have and Boone is an idiot, but it's okay. Today is April 2nd. If it takes a bad loss in April for Boone to realize that Leiter is hot ass water, better now than in October.

It's doubly annoying because the young players really carried us this game...Jasson, Volpe, Will Warren, Ben Rice. Fernando Cruz had a good debut. That should be the story.

Now we're talking about how Leiter is hot trash and future Met material.
