Put the pipe down.

Brother we haven't won in the LaMelo era. You put the pipe down.

Nah nah nah.. you think Melo should be good enough to win with Moussa, Jeffries, Green and NSJ playing major minutes? Double down on this. We need to be playoff team or Melo isn't worth keeping around? I don't want you to just skip over that comment.

Buddy can never hold LaMelo accountable. It's always his teammates fault. Never change Jmac never change.

i think conflating the Melo issue with the lack of talent issue is pretty disingenuous. like if somehow we got a stacked team that doesnt need Melo to succeed I'm not gonna suddenly be like, thrilled with the Melo as a part time player with chronic pain and consistent deterioration in health and performance throughout the season situation. i'm gonna be like, how good could this team be if we used this salary on someone who plays? if we already have a good team what does Melo's inefficient 25 points with no defense actually bring to the table anyway

Why are you running from this? It is a simple yes or no? You think Melo should have been able to take that group to the playoffs this year if he played 82 games? otherwise he isn't worth keeping around?

Quit trying to run from what you said and make this about me. Are you doubling down on that statement?

All these jokes about Myrtle Beach make me think about season 3 of Eastbound & Down, which makes me smile.

I know this is off topic but I'm going to really need to see your top five best beaches in North Carolina and South Carolina combined. I'm pretty sure I've been to all of them at least once in my lifetime. And I can honestly say Myrtle Beach wouldn't be in my top 10 but we probably just value different things in our beaches.

For me...
1. Sullivan's Island/ isle of palms
2. Topsail/surfside/North topsail
3. Duck/corolla
4. Ocean isle/sunset.. nostalgia reasons
5. Edisto

Hm: hunting island,, emerald isle

Myrtle Beach is for the young crowd looking for trouble. Those other beaches you named are family beaches. It depends on the person tbh.

LaMelo is the best player on the team, by far. There is no world where trading LaMelo gets us closer to being good.

When will Melo make us good is my question?

It would be nice to actually win some games and make the playoffs in the LaMelo era. Otherwise why are we keeping a guy on a supermax who can't lead us to the playoffs.

myrtle is for...
golfers
strippers
blue haired tours
high school spring break
and motorcycles

Fun fact. I hitched the ride only one time in my life. Senior year of high school 1991 me and a handful of friends went down to you myrtle, might have been N Myrtle without a place to crash. I somehow ended up at this house ,that my girlfriend at the time, who we just started dating like two weeks prior, and her friends were renting. They were one year behind me. gf ended up puking all night. Barely slept. All my friends were somewhere else miles away. next morning, I start walking down the road Back to where I thought my friends might be. Random redneck in a beat up sedan stopped and picked me up and drove me around until I found my friends.

Later that day we were getting ready to leave and my idiot friend who was driving all blazed out of his mind tried to drive away with the gas hose still attached to the car and it ripped the hose off. He had to sit around and wait for the gas stations insurance guy to show up. So we left him there and went to a keg party and three of us got hammered while he waited at the gas station. Pretty **** thing for friends to do but he was a moron for trying to drive away with the gas hose attached to the car. Once it all got settled he had to pick us up from the keg party and drive us home from Myrtle to Charlotte. He was so angry. we were Being very drunk and obnoxious the entire way back.

I was on the beach at Myrtle Beach at night once and some random lady (who was probably a drug addict, based on her look) randomly walked up to me and thought I looked like her friend. I to say the least nodded and started walking away a little quicker.

Another time I was in my hotel/motel room (one of the cheap ones) and looked over the balcony (3rd floor, I think) and there was some teenager/college guy lying on the ground OD'd and his girlfriend talking to the medics. She looked up at me and some other random people who were watching and yelled at us. Then the cops showed up and arrested him, and he fought it. Dragged him away and I saw them stuff him into the back of their car they parked on the road. Like Cops (the TV show) IRL.

Another time I was in the parking lot of one of those beach stores, and some dude crashed his car into a curb right across the road.

Myrtle Beach is definitely quite the trip.

I was out on the beach in Myrtle at like 3 am hooking up with some girl I met at Crazy Zacks. 2 locals sneaked up and robbed us at gunpoint. Got to ride around in the cruiser hammered trying to ID the random dudes they rounded up. No romance occurred later.

Robbing a man while he's clapping some sandy cheeks is top tier player hating.
