The Kings trade offense for defense, with smaller, more movable contracts, and above all, they get another FRP.

MAVS
In: Lavine
Out: Gafford/Klay/Martín/Hardy

Lively/Powell
AD/O-Max
PJ/Marshall
Lavine/Christie
FA(CP3?)/Draft/Irving

The Mavs get an elite scorer who can also play alongside KI (when he recovers).

MAGIC
In:Klay/Gafford
Out:KCP/Isaak/Magic FRP

Gafford/Goga
Paolo/WCJ
Wagner/Da Silva
Klay/Black
Suggs/Cole

Magic improves in their weakest areas, they get one of the best 3-point shooters of all time and what in my opinion would be their best center

Love Gafford but really need more of a Monk-type PG than a spot up guy like Klay.

I think Orlando passes here. But if they don’t?

Cut out Sac.

KCP and Orlando first for Klay and Gafford. Dallas can try to find offense later, but add another mid first in a good draft when you can.. KCP doesn’t look great, but you hope for a bounce back?

It looks really bad for Orlando to me still, but at least they keep their scratch off ticket on Isaac’s health.

I don’t mind LaVine to Dallas though if they go that route, but I’m not sure I agree Sac is owed a mid first. They got LaVine for bad money and a well protected first.. feel like the OP could have the Denver first at least for Orlando.

i dont see magic doing this even without orlando first going out...want no part of klay contract or a 4th center ...just really want a healthy magic team

Cut the magic out here and send gafford, martin, and klay to the kings. that helps our lineup quite a bit actually.

Derozan/Martin
Murray/Gafford
Sabonis/valanciunas

Ideally we follow this up with moving Derozan for a power forward or small forward that is a better defender.

agree the delta between kcp and Klay/Gafford is DEN 1st, not ORL 1st. maybe with some 2nds too.

This. Except I think it’s Jonas+Demar or Jonas+Klay, with assets obviously, for an upgrade. Or all three combined.. Jonas feels like the worst fitting piece there to me.

Martin is a good defender...

DDR to CLIPPERS
They add another star player

Bogdanovic/DJJ/Valanciunas to DENVER
improve their depth and defense

If it's KCP & 1st for Klay & Gafford I would immediately turn around and move AB + Cole/Jett & 1st for Sexton/Simons/White.. that's a more complete roster. You could then move Goga or WCJ and re sign Wagner knowing we have 2 capable C's.

Simons/ Tyus in FA if cap allows it??

If Dallas was crazy enough to take LaVine, I actually wouldn't mind this. Move JV + DeRozan + Martin for a forward. How many picks to get to Lauri?
