Raptors are interesting re Giannis.
Kuzma (29 y/o) and Giannis (30 y/o) are 76M in salary, combined. Barnes (23 y/o) and Ingram (27 y/o) will be same… but I doubt Ingram is appealing to the Bucks. RJ + Barnes is 66 M… could be matched with Giannis and Connaughton. Not sure that picks would be needed in that case. TO now goes IQ-Dick-Ingram-Giannis as their starting 1-4, while the Bucks go Lillard-RJ-Barnes-Kuzma, having gotten a lot younger.
But would the Bucks send Giannis somewhere he didn’t want to go? And would he be ok going to TO?
RJ + Barnes would get outbid by multiple teams, that's a weak offer IMO
Also why is that Raps team appealing to Giannis from the standpoint of being competitive on arrival? Don't see that aspect either
Raptors can offer Barnes + a top 10 pick THIS YEAR and futures.
Can’t see anyone offering a better player (on a 5-year deal) or a better pick.
Giannis/Ingram/Quickley is a very nice start
Cavs could offer Mobley/Garland
Magic could offer Paolo/Franz
Rockets could offer Sengun/Green
OKC could offer Chet/Williams/Dort
not saying all of these guys are attainable, but it's also highly improbable that none of them would be if Giannis is on the block. I consider all 9 of these guys better than Barnes
