The leadership argument against Booker isn’t as strong as you think it is. KD is a 36 year old vet at this stage. Certified hall of famer, Olympian, champion. He has a lot of responsibility if Phoenix is failing because of leadership issues. If Booker is failing as a leader, then I would ask, what is KD doing? Where is KD in all this?

Of course, it has to be admitted that KD is a failure as a leader. He bears responsibility for recruiting Kyrie and not keeping Kyrie in line in New Jersey, and probably for not keeping Harden in line too.

if shams is correct that we had discussions, and he seems to always be, they had to have been about kat because he's the only way it works salary wise. so they at least considered it.

Shams standing on business. The KD dream is alive.

Bridges, Hart, Robinson and all the picks left for Giannis or KD

You need to get off all the non shooters or brickers off this team… it KAT fails again than he can be the next… Grimes for the MLE and if Tucker salary is needed for the trade you sign TJ Warren. Draft Kiyan in 2026

KAT or Giannis / Hukporti / Moses
Durant / Achiuwa / Tucker or Warren
Anunoby / McCullar / Dadiet
Grimes / McBride / Shamet
Brunson / Kolek / Wright

Check out an old Besert post to see the vision

PG: Brunson
SG: Delon Wright
SF: Durant
PF: Kawhi
C: Embiid

Embiich will have to play every game on a motorized scooter, since his knees have him close to needing a "Jazzy!"

Shams: "Minnesota, New York, Houston, San Antonio, Miami. Those are the types of teams, from my understanding, that had interest then and I expect them to all be in the mix this off-season."

Shams named FIVE teams -- one of which happens to be the KNICKS -- that could potentially have a (mutual interest) shot at landing KD. Yet, here we are already assuming his words automatically meant it's us.

Don't ever change, KNICKS family!

The KD trade is paying huge dividends for them, clearly. The Suns are absolutely thriving with Booker and Durant and their lack of depth.

Going all in is fine in theory, but Durant is not (or no longer) the player who elevates the team and enables you to do that.

Oh look it's kd's biggest hater.

Cant put aside your differences for the betterment of the Knicks. Would rather watch mikal sht the bed against the cavs than see the knicks succeed. I'm disappointed, but not surprised, I had hopes for you. But you've let me down.

if durant can keep himself healthy and still be able to play up until 39 then maybe it could work

It's not KD's team. Never has been. KD also isn't an Alpha like a JB, a Green, or a Kyrie to some extent. NBA history has plenty of players whose leadership doesn't measure up to their talent. Look no further than KAT. Phoenix's leader is Booker. Always has been, at least in theory. And he's damn awful at it. There's a reason why CP found succuss there. Booker didn't have to be a leader (unless they were winning as he's a famous front runner) and CP is a genuine leader. KD is what he is. 52/43/83 @ 27 PPG is stupidly efficient.

I'm happy to blame him for his poor decision to ride Kyrie to Brooklyn. And he didn't recruit Kyrie. Kyrie recruited him unless I'm remembering the story incorrectly. I don't care what happened in Brooklyn. Another **** show. This team already has a leader. And if we're stuck with Thibs, KAT at the 5 doesn't work.

Knicks fans have good reason to **** on KD. But you can't look at KD's numbers this season at 52/43/83 @ 27 PPG as washed up.

Some feel that he should be paid vet minimum cuz of age. Yes, folks... we should be telling KD or Lebron to sign a vet minimum deal to play for us like we are some 1A team
