jeez they are making a pretty hard push while Luka should have trusted the team ball movement on that last possession, but I get why...just... don't keep doing that

We'll have to agree to disagree. But I will say that while I too would trade DLo for a bag of chips.....that expiring $20-some mil contract coulda brought something good back. I guess you think it did. Fair enough.

What a game so far! High quality ball.

We need to swing the ball around more and faster to score easier, although we missed lots of open shots. Less bouncy ball.

Control the defensive glass.

I’d let Austin do the main ball handling in the second half. He has the least resistance breaking them down. Luka gets nowhere, same with Bron.

This team has been too 3pt shot dependent so as the saying goes, you live by the 3, you die by it.
Luka, Gabe, DFS were a combined 1-16 from beyond 24 feet. The team as a whole were not horrible but I just don't see Reaves hit 9 of 16 every game.
With so much movement in the perimeter, asking Luka, Lebron and Austin to switch and close down shooters is very unrealistic IMO.

The previous way we dominated the Warriors was with AD. Shut down the middle. Everything else we'll live with, but nothing in the lane. With this coaching staff, we give up the perimeter, AND we are giving up layups. And while we gain shooting and scoring, with the Loss of both AD and Max, we lose defensive speed. So this staff has got to find and figure out the balance here.

They also gained Butler. They were a garbage team, going in and out of the play-in standings until they got Butler. They've much improved.

Yesterdays game vs GSW, Lakers shot 47 3's, made only 18 ... Case closed.

Why do they often play other teams style of play, smh??

well hell... rockets look pretty secure in 2nd but at least the Nugs lost and we have that half game. I'm happy as long as we are top 4 and have home court vs Denver tbh.
