I think he gives you that ability to throw him out with any other big in double big lineups. He's not going to be the lob/rim runner, and can space the floor and (eventually) run some action as the ballhandler, so playing him with Queta or Luke seems fine. He and Luke would be fun on offense
Yeah, this season at Michigan he played in a double big lineup next to Goldin, who's kind of that Queta/Kornet archetype, the really big but kind of slow guy who scores mostly near the basket, can catch lobs..they (Wolf and Goldin) were very good together on offense.
They had a really good coach who utilized those 2 bigs perfectly to maximize both of their abilities. And a double big lineup with 2 guys who are kind of slow, pretty unathletic with neither being a great shooter or perimeter defender is something that while it worked well in college, I don't know how well that would work in the NBA.
I think Wolf could probably fit pretty well next to KP, with KP's ability to shoot, catch lobs and Wolf being decent at defending out on the perimeter.KP may get traded this summer, though.
Most likely, if we did draft Wolf I figure he'd mostly be a 5, with someone like Tatum at the 4..but who knows what the rest of our roster would look like in 1-3+ yrs from now.

It would actually be interesting to see the PP, Baylor, Hauser, Wolf, Luke lineup. All guys that kinda survive out there. How would they do all on their own together? The offense could be really fun with the shooting and everyone knowing how to shoot and pass.
This is a good question. The more I think about it, the more I get kind of an uneasy feeling about adding another guy to that bench unit who has suspect athleticism and suspect defense. A bench unit that has 4 or more of Pritchard, Hauser, Kornet, Baylor, Wolf could get murdered defensively. Although we have for the most part done ok with Pritchard/Hauser/Kornet on the floor together..
But to that point, Sam Vecenie was saying on that podcast that he knows Boston wants "someone who can shoot and someone who can defend". So Brad may be looking for someone who can bring more to the table defensively than Wolf does. Maybe Vecenie knows that we already have a lot of these unathletic guys who aren't great defenders on our bench so we might not want to add another.
Someone like Fleming or Yaxel bring more to the table in terms of defense/athleticism..while also bringing some shooting..
