Sounds like the Sixers don't really want their top-6-protected pick to convey to the Thunder.

Yeah I guess I don't want that to happen either. Sixers will botch the pick but Thunder will make good use of it.

Philly picked Adem Bona with the #41 pick we traded them for Jaden Springer. Bona had his best game as a pro tonight 28/6 with 5 stocks. He went 13/15 from the floor.

Bona is a mini-Ben Wallace type so the least outside shooting possible, so not gonna start for coach Mazzulla, but he’s showed quite nicely in his rookie year, and is looking like a more valuable asset than Jaden Springer.

Dudes a beast, lol

Yeah Bona's explosiveness is really impressive. Gives me Timelord vibes with his length and quickness. Would've been a nice developmental project but it'd probably be an either/or proposition with Queta since they're similar profiles.

I'm glad Scheierman has looked solid in the wind down of this season, happy to have him on board, but I was really hoping we'd get a developmental big in the draft instead and last year looks like it would have been a great time to do it. Flip went #32, Bona #41 and my personal binkie Quinten Post was still there at #52. Would have been great to get Flip or Post into Joe's system (although in fairness I was pumped about bringing back TIllman, Queta, Kornet trio at the time so appreciate there really wasn't any room for any of them unless one of the others left).

Hoping again that they can find a project big man in the upcoming draft. I know we're well stocked at the moment but it still feels like the shakiest long-term spot on the roster.

Someone made a GB thread about Luka's loss of athleticism and it's really striking. This video is from a few years ago and it's like a completely different player. Dude has aged 20 years in 5 years somehow.

NGL, I'd rather face the Thunder in the Finals instead of these rejuvenated Warriors. But I do hope we make the Finals first.

I want payback for Finals losses in 2010 and 2022.

So beating GSW or the Lakers would be a more meaningful triumph.

But make the Finals first.

I tend to think the Grizz should build around Bane and JJJ and trade Morant.

Desmond has destroyed the Pistons tonight. He can be an all star in the right circumstances

Was reading somewhere that the grizzlies want to test the market for JA but feel it won't be too promising.

JA can definitely help sell tickets so maybe a team that needs a marketing player could trade for him.

Well, I have always hated Duke, so them losing is perfectly fine by me.

Yeah, Morant keeps reminding people how much he loves guns.

Maybe he should join the Army.

Looking at the Grizzlies role players, I feel the same way I do with the Pelicans role plalyers: they deserve a better franchise player.

Morant imo was the most recent waaayyy too early overhyped player. The NBA dropped the ball with that one for sure.

I have zero sympathy for tanking teams, but since the C’s have their pick, the Wiz really messed this tank up.

11/14 from 3. 18-pt advantage right there.

EDIT: Make that 12/15. 21-pt advantage.
EDIT2: Make that 15/20. 27-pt advantage.

Well it’s nice when you make em. Now i gotta hear how the lakers might just win a ship. Their run should be over. They’re doing this also with james not doing much.

Thunder still handle them in 5.
