AZ is right. The way the committee uses all of the metrics (including Kenpom), plus the quads means there isn't as much guess work. Teams get into the tournament based on who they beat (unless you're UNC this year). Also, the major 4 leagues (BIG, SEC, Big 12 and ACC) have become super huge and have changed the top of the bracket. I mean, the Pac-12 as we knew it, no longer exists.
NIL is going to make for some strange bedfellows. Guys are going to 3-4 colleges over a 5 year span. It's ridiculous. I am ready for the COVID kids to move on with their lives.

With redshirts and injuries, next year is basically the last year anyone would have an extra year due to COVID.

Gators havent looked as dominant as the rest of the #1's, but I'm thankful theyve provided some entertaining games in a mostly lukewarm tournament
Also theyve been battle tested in those late game situations

This is the end of the road for Cinderella. You've last seen them in 2024 with NC State. Between NIL and transfer portal, they will be no mo. See how fast some SEC teams got good? Power of money.

No way he's 205.
If yall get him…it’s a big get. He’s turned into a hell of a player. I’ve follow his career for 4 years. He used to purely be a pick and pop guy from 3 and now he can play physical down low and is turning into a great rim runner.
Happy to see him getting paid but bummed if we lose him

Yeah, rules that were completely unfair to players also made NCAA much more interesting. I think we'll see a cinderella team every once in a while, but that's the best case scenario.

I desperately wanted AJ. I thought we had a legit chance to finally get the top prospect lol.azcatz11 wrote:JustBuzzin wrote:WTF

Like nba? No. But he will for sure play in the league. If he has a good season and shoots 38% from 3 he could go first round

I don't see anybody beating Duke this year. Too big, too long, too talented. 5-Star players at every position, including the best player in the tournament and future #1 Overall Pick Cooper Flag. 1-4 can shoo the ball for them. Just too much to overcome. They will cut down the nets imo.

Also cool that they've been practicing at the Spurs brand new practice facility all week.

Really love the idea of the Celtics drafting Sion James with one of their picks. Feel like he will be a steal on the right team in the second round.

I have Florida over Auburn in my bracket, let's see if that becomes a reality.

Yeah, Thomas Haugh is a pro. His improvement in year two on both ends is visible.

It should have been a 30 second possession to begin with, since it was a change of possession. Dumb ass refs.

Am I crazy or can Houston beat Duke? I wonder if they’re going to rough up Flagg and try to fluster him.

I don't think they can play from behind against Duke. If it's not a lead early or a nip/tuck affair, then I think Houston gets rolled. Because if they need extra possessions to get back in the game, that doesn't play to their strengths.
