As Toronto is in the #7 spot, and has 5 more win than Philly with 5 games left, that ain't happening. A funny idea, though.

There’s a slim chance, if 2 teams jump them.

They don't have guns in Australia, so I'm pretty sure that's just a Super Soaker gesture.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I don't know where else to put this, but in a discussion about Coby vs Zach and their games I stumbled on the NBA Advanced Stats Hustle page.
https://www.nba.com/stats/players/hustle?Season=2024-25&SeasonType=Regular+Season&TeamID=1610612741&dir=A&sort=PLAYER_NAME&PerMode=Totals

Coby has only 2 Charges Drawn this year. But 10/8/3/5/2 in his career.

Zach has 1 the entire time he was a Chicago Bull. In 2022. That is it.. Dude took 1 charge the entire time he was here.

DeMar had 5/13/1 and the year he had 13 only Caruso beat him out w/ 14.

EDIT: Also we are ATROCIOUS at drawing charges this season. Jalen Smith is our leader with 3. Coby, THT and Tre Jones have 2. Collins, Buzelis and Dalen have 1 each. That is it. 12 total drawn charges this season.

I watch the Knicks too (sorry) and Brunson takes a ton. It shows leadership and toughness, but he gets beaten up and the Knicks still suck on defense. That's what guys like Terry and Philips should do for us.

Watching the NCAA tourney reminds me yet again just how much better NBA refs are as opposed to college refs. Refs in this tourney are atrocious. Some of the truly worst calls and non-calls I have seen in ages. Im talking across the whole thing including the 1st game of the Final Four. Wow.

Morant got suspended because of all the previous crap.

Stop acting like this was out of the blue. They are sick of him being an idiot.

Relax dude.

I get why Ja is being suspended and why the NBA doesn’t want players doing gun gestures… because Ja is a wannabe thug and flashes his real gun on the gram all the time.

What sucks is the fun gun gestures to indicate you are on fire or cooking like Noah did… are not allowed now because of Ja.

TBF we play a much different style now. We’re still 2nd in pace (compared to 28th). Naturally think when you’re pushing offensively, you’re not setting defensively nearly as much.

No excuse for Terry and Pat having so few.. though they also average few minutes, and Pat’s got a slew of other problems.

Taking charges isn’t exactly a healthy habit. Would rather not see Giddey/Coby/Matas aim for those. This said, 1 in an entire 8-year tenure is pathetic, and sums up my problem with Zach Lavine as a max salary leader.

Miami and Atlanta both lost which puts bulls .5 game over Miami and just 1 game away from Atlanta for # 8…

Watching NCAA basketball is like watching NBA in the Nineties. Grabbing, clutching, bumping. There's little freedom of movement, which is one reason (along with slower offensive decision making) why the game is played at such a slow pace. Accompanied, as you write, by periodic super-soft calls that should not be made, as with the two clean blocks by Florida's center that were somehow determined to be infractions. (OK, maybe the second could be called a foul, but absolutely not the first one.)

The bright side for offensively skilled players is that the NBA is faster and more open, giving them more chance to show their stuff. SGA scored 14 ppg in college, Tatum 17, Ant 19, etc.

When people do things in society they are allowed less leeway.

Just think of Ja being on probation. He has not even made it a year removed from his repeated behavior.

Joker has a triple double through 3 quarters and sits first 4 minutes of 4th. Denver down 7 now. Wasting this guys prime is going to sting really bad. Denver needs to figure it out quick this off season.

I think about their line-up and, on paper, it is pretty ideally suited to playing alongside Joker. My understanding of their failing has been that they were unable to build a decent bench. It's too bad that they didn't have the interest/space to take Vuc...he'd be a great fit.
