I've had Dybantsa #1 and he's absolutely elite, but man, his game does not look like it's grown at all this past season. He's still too often goofy and uncoordinated. He plays out of control and that's one thing I assumed would change and not be an issue by now but it is. I once would not entertain Peterson over him but now I have it neck and neck which I would have laughed at months ago. It might come down to combine measurements. I don't have a good grasp on these prospects size. Peterson looks a legit 6'5" but could be taller. Dybantsa I used to think was 6'10" but he might be just 6'8".

0 chance that he ends up better than Dybantsa in the league lol. Peterson is a pretty mid athlete and I don’t think his skills compensate for that fact

Yeah just coming back to this the next morning, the fact that this absolute embarrassment of a post is still up really baffles me. You had a chance to delete it and save yourself.

Darryn Peterson the mid athlete without skill. We are laughing

And it’s not even a Dybantsa-Peterson discussion because I’m high on AJ and think he could better. It’s your dismissal of Peterson. This would be like saying no way Wade ends up as good as Carmelo Anthony.

Peterson is my #1.

Boozer will dominate college, but will not be #1 due to lack of perceived upside compared to Peterson.

Dybantsa probably will drop a bit to the #3-5 range.

It’s really a hilarious take..you could just look at the McDonald’s game and tell he moves differently than his peers.

I’ll never underestimate Bill Self’s ability to ruin a blue chip recruit, so anything is on the table.

That said, he looks ridiculously good.

What’s the chance that Peterson goes number 1 overall?

I’m not deleting Jack. He is a mid athlete, he isn’t a high flyer by any means, isn’t fast at all, doesn’t have a quick first step.

Peterson’s main calling card is the fact that he is supposed to be an elite defender while producing elite offense, but his offensive game doesn’t scream elite at next level. He relies heavily on floaters and 3s. And no, he isn’t elite offensively skill wise either. Again, it’s pretty much a guarantee that Dybantsa is much better than Peterson at the next level. Feel like we’ve seen Peterson types all the time and I’m not getting the hype to be calling him best guard prospect of the decade because he certainly isn’t better than Fultz, Cade, Simmons, etc as a prospect coming out of high school. And no, it’s not Wade vs Carmelo because I don’t think Peterson is close to Dybantsa

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Calling him a mid athlete along with the rest of your description of him being a 3’s and floaters only guy makes it sound like you’ve never seen him play honestly.

Jermaine is a hell of a coach. He did the same to Dybantsa when they played against him at ASW.

I hate hate HATE whenever a blue chip goes to Kansas or North Carolina.

Maybe Kansas being so bad this year will knock some sense into Self, and let him run the offense through one of the most talented players he's ever recruited, but never underestimate the stubbornness of head coaches.

Buddy, he is a mid tier athlete. There’s 0 chance that you watch Peterson and claim that he’s a better athlete in high school than a Mikey Williams or Cade Cunningham in high school who are mid tier athletes at the next level

Hopefully succeeds but he looks like a number or more like 3 player on a championship team. Dybantsa is clearly the best imo

Didn't even consider that fact that Kansas is the ruiner of talents.

Might become trash by end of the season. Like the biggest trash of all time Andrew Wiggins.
