PG Heat - Nice OT Win

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Apr 6, 2025 2:43 am

Frustrating at times but fun OT and I'm not going to go negative and bitch about anything tonight.

Have to find a way to keep KPJ. He's electric. So fun to watch.

Did Doc learn that he doesn't have to play Kuzma 36 minutes tonight? Huge development.

Should have won in regulation. We will just quietly ignore the last 5 minutes of a great Giannis game. Big game from Porter and could've been better with a friendlier rim.

Doc benched Kuzma. Going to be doing that a few times in the playoffs I would imagine.

Kuzma and Prince, especially Kuzma, were garbage in regulation and we wouldn't have needed OT otherwise. The fact that Doc is starting both of them out of position next to Giannis makes me physically ill every night the Bucks play.

Giannis was stellar against decent D for nearly the entire game until OT when clearly gassed.

KPJ, what can you say.

Kuzma, what can't you say (except to bench him entirely if you're Doc)

Build around Porter and Giannis.

Four starters with a (-) in the game and still won. Kinda nuts really how much we are held back by Doc playing the same guys over and over.

First time sweeping the Heat since when? Doc > Spo? Some are talking.

Needed it, because we're going to have to "punt" tomorrow. Hope it can be another KPJ carry job like @ Minny, & this would actually be a game to "get Kuz going", Doc. Not when you have Giannis, or even KPJ, or heck Brook, who probably should sit too.

At least Doc played the hot hands play down the stretch. Made a difference. Don't know about the last play in regulation. Can't let the inmates run the asylum. Another unsung hero game by Green btw. Hunted on d, efficient, lower volume o. That's what I want.

In a perfect world I agree, but giving Kuz confidence right before the playoffs could backfire tremendously .
